@@richardstreet7518 appreciated, despite being only a few years ago I can see this being an issue until the 777x's. Personally there was nothing wrong with the old Q Suite just perhaps needs 4k and USB C but I wish they had rolled this out to their other planes.
@walkwithjonas7920 could be just seems a bit messy operationally wise. Etihad is similar. Gave us the old amenity kit which was empty but then gave a box with the new ones. Then a totally different one on another flight and a third one on the other.
Great video! I want to do Qatar someday, try some of their various aircraft types out! Thanks for sharing a look into the A380 business as I'll likely fly in economy class!
@@liftoffandtravel Not sure where... I did find a good deal for 7 days in the UAE via Doha for £475 return. Four flights covering the Boeing 787, Airbus A320, Airbus A350 and Airbus A380...
I flew Qatar from Manchester to Bangkok had both Q Suite and the A380. Service was absolutely brilliant and so was food. The entertainment side 1 out of the 4 flights had a lot of choice and 3 the movies there wasn't a lot of. Would definitely fly with them again though.
If you do fly the A380 would love to know what you think? The seat is extremely comfortable. Perhaps more so than Q Suite and the bar is just an amazing place to be so more than happy to fly this ✈️
you're in Business Class- yes.... Good thing with an A380, you have a gate upon arrival into DOHA; cannot imagine them bussing people to the terminal. ( the bus rides take too long and connections can sometimes be tight ) safe travels
haha not sure if we said it before but we loved seeing your comments. Yes safe and sound in our seat 🤣 Agreed buses and on the way back a 4+ hr connection was a bit long when all you want to do is sleep.
Another great video! I can’t imagine taking such an early long haul flight from LHR - the logistics of getting there in time. By the way, I thought EK also has an onboard bar on their A380s? Not just EY and QR.
@@gaviny6713 haha so funnily enough was editing our Emirates video this week and yes they indeed have an onboard bar that is nearly as nice as Qatars. What's the earliest flight you would consider? Agreed a 6am wake up requires lots of motivation 😂
@ Haha! For LHR, I’ll say 10am at least (1h20min travel time). For LGW, 8:30am is doable (45min travel time.) LHR weirdly isn’t the most convenient airport for someone that lives in central London.

Must admit I don't like the Qatar A380 Business Class seats at all. Did the Doha to Sydney flight last year. Will fly out Melbourne in future to avoid the A380 seats. Thank goodness for the bar.

Thanks for the nice report. As for the amenity kit, I believe out of Doha you get a real pouch and into Doha just the box…

Both brilliant in their own ways. Q Suite amazing but could feel a bit cut of and the A380 is very comfortable.
