For people asking why Starbucks doesn’t do it, a lot of baristas can do it but it’s way more fast paced and there isn’t time to patiently make latte art. We also use different steaming pitchers that have a wider lip so it doesn’t pour as concisely or as slow to form the right lines. Our lattes also have more milk per espresso so if you enjoy the taste of Starbucks lattes don’t complain about there being no latte art.
Nbhjjmbhhn Sksldkemdj bollocks. A flat white is simply a latte in a cappuccino style cup as opposed to the latte long glasses. You steam the milk exactly the same way so that steamed milk and foam become one and is a silky smooth texture; ‘latte art’ can still be produced this way.
It’s cause when you pour from higher the (very microfoamy) milk gets under the crema layer on the expresso and when you go faster and closer with the milk pitcher to the cup, the foam layers on top of the crema. P.s I’m a barista that’s why I know that 😂
I think it has to do with surface tension. When you pour from higher the cream just breaks the liquid surface, but when you’re pouring closer with more control, you’re not breaking the surface, you’re sort of laying the cream on top of the coffee. Of course, that’s just a gander, I could be very wrong :)
Wow soooo amazing latte arts there, I can do only florette, hearts, fish, bear and cat's face.....I wanted to be perfect in making swan and learn more arts in coffee making....I saw a video of peacock, dragon, kangaroo and Indian face and I'm like woooooW those baristas were damn amazing and talented👍👍😍☕☕☕☕☕☕
My wife is a Barista at Starbucks and wants to learn the technique of Latte art. Its very fascinating and difficult to do. It's seems very similar to pin striping with is a dying technique that requires steady hands.
the milk looks very sticky and did not change even at the end of the preparation. Would be nice if the complete video can be presented on how to make a late art from an expresso
I'd say I'm pretty good at latte art but this is next level my one question is how do you get such fine ripples? Stretch the milk far less ? I've been trying to nail that down but I just can't seem to figure it out.
When the coffee gets so close to overflowing, I get anxiety.

This just great Latte Art. I cannot understand why so many people dislike it. Crazy world.
I cant get over how insanely good that swan was . I struggle to do leaves and hearts well consistently for my flat whites
BinnyBob247 Why are you even doing latte art on a flat white?
Flat whites should have no foam on therefore no art on top
It was asian level
I can't even get the right consistency to do any latte art

initially the milk sinks inside but a moment later it stays afloat. what sorcery is this?
If u tilt the can without movement you get only the milk that's at the bottom after that u start pouring the foam that is on top
Ask Dr. Strange
It's foam milk.
when it'll sink until it will appears it float. the foam milk sitting on another foam that initially poured.
