- MiLO floated into the Museum of Neon like one of those classic summer nights- lost in meditative thought-sitting outside your porch sipping ice-cold lemonade, and listening to the buzz of the city street lights.
Upon first look, the duo appears as though they are from an old school jazz night club with the classic 1920s radio microphone. Conversely, the writing team of Swedish composer Michael Sandgren and Jamaican/American singer Lola Gayle, transformed vintage Blue notes into Nordic-melancholy. Gayle's voice and performative/poetic nature, along with Sangdren's gritty-modern piano arrangements turned MONA's space into a "Midsummer Night's Dream."
