- Προφασιζόμενη τον απόλυτα αυθαίρετο γεωγραφικό περιορισμό της ελληνικής μειονότητας σε 99 συγκεκριμένα χωριά στο νότο της χώρας και αποχαρακτηρίζοντας από μειονοτική ζώνη περιοχές λίκνα του ελληνισμού όπως η Χιμάρα, οι Άγιοι Σαράντα, η Άρτα, το Αργυρόκαστρο κ.α., η Αλβανία στερεί σήμερα από χιλιάδες Έλληνες μειονοτικούς όλα τα δικαιώματά τους που απορρέουν από διεθνείς συνθήκες και συμφωνίες.

• καταπάτηση και υφαρπαγή των περιουσιών των ελλήνων μειονοτικών
• βία και νοθεία στις εθνικές και δημοτικές εκλογές εις βάρος των ελλήνων υποψηφίων
• στέρηση της δυνατότητας εκπαίδευσης στη μητρική γλώσσα
• απαγόρευση χρήσης της ελληνικής γλώσσας στην επικοινωνία των κατοίκων με τις δημόσιες αρχές και
• αλλοίωση της εθνοτικής σύνθεσης των περιοχών που παραδοσιακά κατοικούνται από έλληνες μέσω της ύπουλης διοικητικής διάρθρωσης των αντίστοιχων περιοχών
αποτελούν τους βασικότερους άξονες στους οποίους στηρίζεται η Αλβανική πολιτική συρρίκνωσης και περιορισμού του γηγενούς ελληνικού στοιχείου στην περιοχή της Βορείου Ηπείρου, κατά παράβαση κάθε κανόνα και πρακτικής διεθνούς δικαίου για τις μειονότητες.
Όλα αυτά, υπό την ανοχή των εκάστοτε Ελληνικών κυβερνήσεων και την άγνοια των ελλήνων πολιτών οι οποίοι δεν διδάχτηκαν από τα σχολικά τους βιβλία ούτε μια γραμμή για την ένδοξη ιστορία του Βορειοηπειρωτικού ελληνισμού που έζησε στην περιοχή αυτή και παρήγαγε ζηλευτό πολιτισμό τα τελευταία 3000 χρόνια.
Στο βίντεο εμφανίζεται το Πολυφωνικό συγκρότημα της Χιμάρας, στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρο, κατά το Φεστιβάλ Βορειοηπειρωτικής Λαογραφίας που διεξήχθη το Μάιο του 2007 στην Αθήνα.

na mallengjeve, you really touched us, just explain me one fact, how come that my paternal grandmother who was from vuno spoke albanian, never knew a word of greek, and fought with her two brothers and countless himarjote against the nazi forces in World war 2, how come that zaho koka her first cousin fought alongside partizan forces, and yet how come that edi rama(whose mom is my grandma's 1 cousin,from vuno) never claimed being greek?

However, you too should keep in mind that it was Greece that they fought for, not any other country. That says a lot about how they viewed themselves and what they self-identified as, as you probably understand.

1) The true ancient language was Greek of course, an older form of Greek. I'm not sure what you mean by "why got it lost", since it has NOT been lost, it has just changed, as all languages do. And Ancient Greek has changed little whan compared to other Ancient languages.
And about the number of landowners and farmers of Arvanite origins, as far as I know, no relevant researches have been carried out in Greece, so I don't have any numbers at my disposal.
Get my fact straight about what, dear? All I've said is that there is a greek minority in Albania and you've admitted it yourself in your answer. If I've written something else which is false, please be so kind as to point it out to me instead of ranting.

This is what science (linguistics, history, archaeology) tells us. You can check any (serious, I repeat) book you want. If you prefer to believe in conspiracy theories instead, it's fine with me, but don't expect me to take you seriously.
(slavic languages are a completely different branch, check any book on linguistics), armenian is a different language too. And the cyrillic script has nothing to do with the Armenian language, by the way.

Sorry to dissapoint you, she knew only albanian I do recognize the fact that palasa, himara, and dhermiu speak both greek and albanian (shqip dhe greqisht), but vuno, pilur kudhes dhe qeparo speak only albanian (vetem shqip). This past summer i was in vuno, and i saw that the two clubs of the village were listening to poni's songs, because those are the songs that they grew up with (the text of the songs). And i never lie about historic facts, though i may lie to grilfriends and proffesors
3) I do not understand what you mean by "legendary Greeks", if you want to say that we Greeks are not "racially pure" or something like that, I do agree. There are no "racially pure" nations. But this does not change the fact that we are Greeks, of course.

And I tell you once more, the Ancient Greek language did NOT "change immediately". Read any (serious) book you want about the evolution of the Greek language from the ancient times till today, you will learn the same things. Greek is Greek, it has always been Greek, it is not slavic
