I'm sorry you're dealing with annoying acne - I had horrible acne as a teenager and tried everything from doxycycline to birth control. The one thing that helped was Accutane. It's an intense drug, but man did it clear up my acne like nothing ever has before! (Also, sometimes intense chemical peels and facials can irritate acne more than help it.) Hope that helps!! You're beautiful inside and out. Your being vulnerable on this platform is so SO brave!!!💓

I completely understand what you're feeling, about bday messages, long celebrations, wanting to celebrate but also kinda wanting it to be a normal day... I've been overlaping vacation - yearly traveling abroad with my bday date for the past 4 years and avoid celebrations altogether. My friends used to throw me a little surprise party but it can get a little overwhelming. Now I even try not to check my phone until the next day.

Happy birthday! I watch your content religiously on YT and TT. I turn 34 in October and I will be feeling the exact same. All the little annoyances you don’t give a second thought about suddenly feel like a personal assault on top of the celebratory expectations you have but don’t want to have? So dumb. Your birthday cake turned out so cute! I’m inspired to try making a fall/birthday one now.
My birthday is a day after yours and I also feel exactly the way you do. As a single, introverted girly, I always want to celebrate but also find it kind of awkward to initiate it. But the past few birthdays I’ve just been planning a trip somewhere, either by myself or with one other person to celebrate. That way I’m not alone on my birthday wondering if anyone would want to spend it with me.
