Today, on the no dig allotment, cleaning the Chicken shed for compost material, cutting all the plants out of the polytunnel, making a weed compost bin, and checking this years compost I’m nearly there now! reaching a point where it’s just maintenance.

I've never over-wintered an aubergine Alan! Never thought about it tbh! Polytunnel looks great. Getting ready for the cold months now aren't we! Haha! Great update Alan . Danny 🌱
Thanks for the visit Dnny, @The Grapevine Garden never tried the over wintering of aubergine's myself but these have been so prolific it would be a shame NOT to TRY... yes winding down now for winter Danny, out with the old and in with the new as they say ;-) stay safe Alan

Yep can see the cauliflower and they look fantastic 🎉. Everything is winding down now and I actually like this time of year it means planning and fun projects 👍👍. I’ve sown kale and spinach direct in the brassica cage today. Have a fantastic week Alan and the gang 🐝 safe

great video alan. i been subbed to you for a few weeks now and binged watched alot of your videos. i manily wacthed the video with the poly tunnel u put together. iam from the north east aswel. and very new to growing veggies. lovely greenhouse u have and what a harvest. great job

Hi Alan your compost should be great with those feathers and chicken poop in. I like the tom hanging to ripen, I need to sort mine out!👍

Your Compost Bins look great Alan do you cover them with a tarp or leave them open? That's a cracking Harvest as well in those bags i can see alot of Tomato and Aubergines recipes starting up.
Are you getting a cold or something as you are doing alot of sniffing at one point i started sniffing as well ha ha ha.

Cheers Barry thought you had disappeared lol through summer I don't cover the compost bays but in winter yes I do mate. Had this daft cold for months can't shake it off 😫 think it's possibly after effects of covid mate had it twice.... thanks for your comment mate 👍 stay safe Alan
What are those pots you have at the base of your plants?
They are called tomato halos mate 👍
