The perm of frieza happens before on play autos resolves. So broly comes in rested. Als perms dont activate. They work as soon as the requarments are met.
They really need to start throwing "If your opponent has 8 or more cards in hand" effects on blue cards. Force the opponent to play the 7 or less game or face consequences.
Totally agree with u on vegito , it feel like an SR effect but bright side it has combo power and only a 5 cost maybe the only scr u would play 4 copy of it compare to other scr. On to the frieza permanent abilities, his abilities can never stop any effect whether is -2500 or ko or rest something unless the ability required u to be on active when u play the card but broly will still be played in rest mode. Golden scr is 100% a must to have at least 2 copy even 3 because of green big bang attack ATM, hopefully green wont have more of those other card that KO anything other than cell and broly.
The more I think about, the more I just think Vegito balanced Broly. Now of course that makes the card seem even worse, but I think the Potara support is potentially making him a lot better, we already have a Shin that can search him. Vegito still has a lot of potential.
You did make a slip when talking about Vegito, saying you can bounce one of your cards. You cannot do that as it is only opponent's cards. But I should defend my statement as to why I think it is a bad card. It is understated, as a 5 cost vanilla would have 35k on its body. Red has vanilla stats, Yellow has vanilla stats, Green is overstated by 5k, and Blue is understated. So off the bat you are paying for a 4 energy body, how much energy is the ability worth? Well luckily we already know 3 cost Future Trunks, but there is a caveat. Future Trunks's ability is much better, as it allows you to pick up a life and bounce a card from either field, for 1 more energy (2 for the stat line, and 1 for the effect). So Vegito's worse on play ability should cost less than 1 energy, so about 4.25-4.5 energy worth of value. Switching to active mode is a weird one to figure out, a good foil to look at is the 3 cost Vegeta that has the same printed ability except it is end of turn. And for its stats and cost is a free ability (has vanilla stats). You could make the argument that it being an activate main makes up for the lack of value, but as it stands you are paying 5 for something that could easily have cost 4. And if we start talking about curving into the card, Vegito 3, into a 4 drop, into a 5 drop. Wouldn't you just be better off playing Vegeta 5 anyways? At that point you are bottom decking a 5 cost and swinging for Double with a vanilla stat line. TL;DR It costs 1 energy too much, its harder to end the game with, and requires you to have an arbitrary hand size for its bonus effect which has already been printed on other cards for 0 energy, or coupled with multiple powerful effects/stats that it makes it more valuable. PS I think Red is going to come out on top as the best deck of set 2, as it is already heading that way currently. And if it does, this entire package is almost unplayable.
I like how you read Vegitos on play to bounce 1 of your opponents characters and then proceed to say you can choose 1 of your opponents or 1 of your cards to bounce lol
So hear me out on THIS curve: 1 cost zama bottom a 1. 3 cost vegito with the marker, bottom their 2. 3 play another vegito, bottom a 3. 4 cost goku black bottom a 4. 5 cost vegito bottom a 7 or lower LOL. Blue players gonna love set 2.
I agree with you that at first glance Vegito reads like the worst scr, but I think it is the second best. Gohan is already worse in most practical scenarios than either droids or Broly, and with cell coming his position probably won’t improve. Golden frieza reads very well but it requires you to play past the point that yellow wants to end the game and the deck slots have to come from somewhere in order to play him, which will make the ginyu package more inconsistent if you tried to run both. Vegito slots in to what blue is currently trying to do on turn 5, has counter and has a really good base play pattern. He bounces a 4 drop, swings at and probably destroys a 2 drop and, then eats a super combo, setting up for pilaf/galick gun lethals the next turn.
Both of these scr’s are pretty bad compared to the first set scr’s. Holding onto frieza until the 5th/6th turn will always feel terrible. And Vegito is a joke.
Vegito is literally one of the strongest characters canonically and it sucks, funny thing is eventually green will get Gogeta and it's gonna be gigabroken, or at least better than this Vegito
bounce to hand just seems like a useless ability considering everything can attack on play. Bandai really dropped the ball with blue and i'm honestly disappointed as a blue player
I feel like the whole “before opponents abilities activate wouldn’t apply to permanents, since they’re permanently activate lol. Like a Promo goku with his perm +5k can’t suddenly be sniped by 3drop goku rn just because it’s an on play. Now if broly doesn’t techically count as down/active UNTIL his on play condition is used/not used, then I could see it nuking the G frieza AND getting its swings in
9-2-2 seems to suggest activates happen immediately and can’t be interrupted, then follows with other skills can be triggered but basically wait. This is best seen with blue’s kicking back to hand triggering Mai’s auto. So broly’s ko would trigger and resolve, killing frieza, which would mean frieza’s queued ability wouldn’t resolve. At least this is how I understand it
@@Hammerreborn That's not how it works, Frieza's ability doesn't need to resolve, it's already active and it doesn't rest characters after they come into play, it forces the opponent to play them rested rather than active so Brolly is already rested when it comes into play.
The perm of frieza happens before on play autos resolves. So broly comes in rested. Als perms dont activate. They work as soon as the requarments are met.
I think Blue might actually need some hand destruction to EARN the "7 or less cards in hand" restriction. As a way to equalize the playing field
They really need to start throwing "If your opponent has 8 or more cards in hand" effects on blue cards. Force the opponent to play the 7 or less game or face consequences.
Vegeto is pretty fire after a long convo with Cody I see the lines
That Golden Frieza is very good. If not for the cost 6. It would be pretty broken.
By the time frieza comes out it can be easily answered
Permanent abilities happen first regardless. So Broly would enter rested and THEN kill the frieza
I stand by the fact that vegito should've been able to bottom deck any card
If that Vegito was a red card the condition would just be “IF Awakened” or something lmaoooo
Totally agree with u on vegito , it feel like an SR effect but bright side it has combo power and only a 5 cost maybe the only scr u would play 4 copy of it compare to other scr. Broly comes in rested but still pops frieza

I really believe Vegito is going to see more play than Frieza.
Idk Yellow SCR is The only generic form of removal for Yellow with a floodgate built in.

Does the SCR frieza keep them rested? Or they are only rested the turn they are played?
Yeah I want to make a blue deck and these are looking like a fusion deck
I like how you read Vegitos on play to bounce 1 of your opponents characters and then proceed to say you can choose 1 of your opponents or 1 of your cards to bounce lol
My tired ass is funny sometimes 🤣
Broly comes in rested
Maybe the extras for blue will be good hopefully
That Frieza is just the biggest middle finger to green
So hear me out on THIS curve: 1 cost zama bottom a 1. 3 cost vegito with the marker, bottom their 2. 3 play another vegito, bottom a 3. 4 cost goku black bottom a 4. 5 cost vegito bottom a 7 or lower LOL. Blue players gonna love set 2.

On 3 for yellow u can racoome ginyu
Freiza scrs eff will still put broly in rest mode but it will be k.o by brolys eff 👍🏾

what's the point? its not like I can afford it.
bounce to hand just seems like a useless ability considering everything can attack on play. Bandai really dropped the ball with blue and i'm honestly disappointed as a blue player
Wouldn’t perms come into play before on plays? So like the Vegito SR perm allows it to bottom deck a 2 cost instead of 1 for example
I feel like the whole “before opponents abilities activate wouldn’t apply to permanents, since they’re permanently activate lol. I think everyone knows which is better
