I’ve been hearing your messages for years and have been blessed, and what the spirit has directed you to say was for me and my house hold.
I had been accused of lacking faith as a Christian because of using caution. I am of a certain age with underlying physical issues and hav gone out only when very necessary. Because of this there has been friction in the house, but I thank God Almighty for your boldness in the Spirit of God to speak truth

The loss of my loved one in NYC continues to hurt... she died alone. We weren’t allowed to bury her initially... but eventually her daughter was able to see her body and have her shipped home for a private interment.
Grief is a stranger that appears when you least expect it.
Be wary about putting your own lives and loved ones lives at risk.
Asymptomatic people are spreading this illness and unfortunately people who have underlying health issues are susceptible to illness so yes, be thy brothers keeper.

To hear a man that has a large following speaking logically, with love, and that genuinely cares about human life is so uplifting. It gives me some hope. Thank you so much for posting this. Hmmm, guess you don't know your Bible very well. Read ALL of it and you will come to know that all of those emotions were something He experienced as well. The Bible says not to BE anxious, it does not say not to FEEL anxiousness. Everyone is human, everyone, if they are honest has some degree of those emotions you listed. Obviously you have not seen what the pastor has seen, nor what we have seen. This is serious and you do need to take this seriously. It is not healthy to deny you emotions; instead take them to the Lord. He will listen, comfort, and heal. So please stop 'preaching' words that you are simply repeating because someone else has said them. Instead try repeating what you read, yourself, in the Bible, and PLEASE don't use Scripture while taking it out of context.
I’m absolutely amazed at the will of T. D. Jakes to speak as a Man whose aware of the invisible enemy and not the Pastor who focus on the church pews being filled. Speaking Truth is a freeing feeling!
I am a preacher in the UK. My wife works in nursing the elderly and she caught COVID-19 and unknowingly passed it on to me. It is a brutal illness and I have never experienced such sickness and being so ill in my life and nor has my wife. We were fighting for our lives at one stage. At its worst, I resisted going into hospital because so many people do not come out when they go in. Praise God we came through it and are now symptom-free. I agree with the advice Pastor Jakes gives here, be wise and do not put yourself at risk as this thing is brutal and deadly and stay safe. We were not afraid of death, but we still have so much living to do and want to continue to work for the Lord and not go until we have lived full and faithful lives here on Earth.
My thoughts and prayers are with those who have it or have lost loved ones. Bless you all in Dallas USA or wherever you are.

Except it is important to distinguish the difference between Noah, and what is happening now.
God directly told Noah what to do, and gave specific details about it... that isn't the case here.
The absolute best decision any Christian can make is to lean on God's understanding, and truly read and believe the word of God. Our life and health rely on that.
Jesus commissioned us to do what He saw the Father doing, which was to walk in power, dominion, and authority. Jesus went out and healed all that were sick... period. He got in their face, touched them, and they walked away recovered. Then Jesus said to us... Go, and do the same things I did.
So with all due respect, I will stay when He says stay, and go when He says go, and I'll take Him at His word, that He is a healer and a protector.
And as His ambassador, I and every other Christian, have the ability to do what Jesus said that we can. Period.
All of us will die, and it can be while we are staying at home, or going about doing the Father's business. Do not fear! Going outside living life is not tempting satan, that is simply trusting God.

I jumped off of my bed and I said very loudly, “God, Am I wrong for being angry with Rod Parsley asking for more $$$, after You just healed him of throat cancer & am I wrong for being angry with the Swaggarts for coming against Christian rap?”
I have never heard my Abba Father’s holy angered audible voice and it shook me...

I’m so grateful, because the Holy Spirit has led me to the truth in His Word! I have to admit I only watched 1/2 of this video and could not take anymore. I have been listening to Bishop T.D. Jakes' sermons every week for the past three years and would never have imagined he would take this position on this virus. I am going back to listening to Dr. Charles Stanley. He has a 5 minute Covid virus message and says this is not a time for fear and depression but a time for faith and obedience. He also quotes several scriptures to back up his message.
What did he say wrong ?
I look forward to these “sit down” talks. When our Pastor talks to us this way he calls these talks “Fireside Chats.” Thank you Bishop.

Bishop Jakes, what can I say in response to this other than Amen and Amen! So much of what you shared resonates with how I feel. My prayer is that all the diverse communities where you have influence are able to listen to your wise words. Like you, I want to be around as my grandchildren grow, and hopefully share in the lives of my grandchildren someday as well. Pray for my son ...he is a Truck Driver across country...I pray daily...I've been locked down for 2 months..I had enough food and supplies for 3 months...last summer I ran across those Prepper Videos and my son and I listened to those videos...they kept saying prepare because something was coming down the pipe (shtf) so we started preparing..we are fine... Thank God...

Well COVID-19 did not catch God by surprise and he is still in control, we must use wisdom, and Bishop Jakes successfully urged that today. Will say a prayer for you and your family before I go to bed tonight! Today, he said when a person loves you, they will challenge you to do right (words to that effect), and that is what you are doing with your family. You love them, and you certainly love your mom. Keep praying and making a big deal out of it without over-stressing yourself. 👍🏽👍🏽

Hello Bishop Jake from Ireland and thank you for talking to us. I'm Catholic and was feeling guilty for being so frightened of this virus as I'm one of the vulnerable group. I have been feeling very distressed that our Chapel is closed and we cannot go to Mass. You are right that if we are sensible we will be able to see and hug our loved ones again and meantime we can pray for not only ourselves but also for all who need prayer especially those poor people who have no food. My aunt got corona virus got very sick.Could hardly bresth.She said to me the pain was very bad.Then been alone in a room without family was terrible.The Doctors and nurses are working so hard to help everyone.She felt sad for them working and not seen their family.God is with all of us.Thank you God my aunt is home now recovering.Amen

I tried to tell my co-workers that even though restrictions are lifting, the number of cases and the death toll is expected to increase along with that, the virus is still out there with NO vaccine, I was told by management to keep the conversation business related 🤷🏽♀️ I was compelled to speak and I spoke, the workplace and government is so Callus, there is no real concern for PEOPLE, for human beings, it’s sad

I dont live in USA but its the same message I have been preaching to my friends. COVID 19 is a personal thing, I alone makes the decisions for me. I remembered when it first became a concern in my country, I told a close friend I wasn't going to church that Sunday morning, she ridiculed me but I couldn't be bothered. We should not allow ourselves to be pressured into making decisions that will compromise our health.
