That swing you made on the buried ball in the bunker on #10 was beyond brutal. Have never seen a swing anywhere near that hard from a bunker. Not sure how many know what an amazing shot that was!
Dan, the fact he got that ball out of the sand AT ALL is insane! I was waiting for him to need 2 or 3 shots to get it out, and nope, first bunker shot right onto the green. You're right, many probably don't realize just how extraordinary that was. Have a Happy New Year!

You can tell you're getting in your own head but it happens. That's the wonderful thing about golf, its very humbling. One day you can't hit a bad shot and the very next day you would think you have never played before. Keep up the hard work!
So I'll be honest until this video I wasn't really into seeing your homerun derby, smash simulator videos ALL THE TIME on instagram. BUT, then I saw this video. I have played Torrey a lot, and mostly off the rail (so first or second group out like you did). I'm going to say up front taking into account the tees you were playing off of, you played awesome, I mean even Ben Hogan said he wanted to get 18 birdies in a round everytime, so don't beat yourself up. But your thought processes and normal reactions to not playing the way you wanted too, are the universal language of golf. This video on a course I can relate to very well, for sure got you a fan. And even though I would be six clubs behind you on every approach shot, I could feel every shot you hit on that course and felt the misses, because I've had to hit recoveries from the same places.

I used to play Torrey Pines many years ago have played over a hundred rounds on this great course. From the back tees a scratch golfer would be happy with shooting an 80. This is a tough Golf Course from the tips

If a 340 carry into a headwind in dense air on the drive ending in a bogey at Torrey Pines from the tips is a bad hole I’ll take 18 of them please!!! Congratulations on 100K and great playing at extremely tough USGA Torrey Pines! PS - We need to get you to 200K, so you can get a better windproof mic and a gimble to make smooth panning shots.
So fun watching you play my home course Torrey. Your distance is obviously incredible but the fact that you hit that many fairways and putted that well inside of 15 feet on the south course is amazing. Did you know there are 3 alternate tee boxes behind the cell tower on 13? The longest one adds about 60 yards to the hole and is an awesome tee shot as you have to hit it over the canyon (not a problem for you). Would have been cool to see you hit from there. Amazing round Kyle!!! Keep up the great content.
