I can't believe that I was crying. I NEVER went in when my kids got their shots. My husband had to go. And I would STILL cry when I heard them crying from the other room. Kudos to you Ami. You a strong momma.
No husband. I HAD to go in and sit in chair, hold my son, they strapped us in. After, my son walked over and kicked nurse in shin!! OMG I almost died. LOL

Good job handling the situation dad. The way you explained to the girls why they needed to to do this and trying to calm them down was so good. Great video as usual.
I just love the positivity of this channel. The way you all explained to the kids the reasoning behind the flu shot was Awesome. I’m so proud of Ava for showing her big sister leadership skills for her Sissy. They both are 💎 . They are the most adorable kids. Thanks again for sharing your lives with us. God Bless you all.

I just figured Jersey would go first. He may be the baby brother, but one day he's going to be acting like he's the big brother and protecting his sisters.
My comments while watching. "It's a bear. No, it's just Jersey!" 🤣 "The doctor better not dig in Jersey's butt again." 🤣🤣 Alexis & Ava... Oh my. 💔 That's exactly how I feel about taking pills... And I'm grown 🤦 They're so concerned about Jersey... The butt thing though.😂😂 I just want to give the girls a big hug and a huge tub of ice cream. Oh my. Sharon here: Wait until she's older, and has to hold the equivalent of a dinner napkin over her lap ... without a teddy bear on it. Oh, it's a bear, all right ...
Great job Ami and Justin explaining the process to the children. As someone with 18 years of experience in every imaginable area of child growth and development, I would like to offer a piece of advice if I may. Explaining the process was a wonderful idea, however in the future you might want to try explaining, answering any and all questions and then moving on to a distraction rather than continuing the conversation beyond exhaustion. Children that young can easily be distracted with a question asking game, coloring books, stories, etc to ease their mind from what’s to come. Once they are filled with anxiety and completely worked up, it’s very difficult to calm them down or rationalize with them. A great rule of thumb is to keep the discussions brief and powerful. You, of course are the experts on your children. I am just a viewer with a limited vantage point of the entire situation, but I strongly believe in avoiding all possible drama and meltdowns. Unless... this was intentional for the purpose of views. Which I’ll assume the best and reject the idea that any parent would put their children through this for a UA-cam video 😉💕. Continue to love, grow, and laugh together.
I was hoping somebody else would see what I saw, I mean he worked them into a freaking frenzy by just going on and on and on; my goodness. I know you're being nice about it but I can't help but think he did this for the purpose of getting them to cry on camera.
Yes, I also was surprised at the level of anxiety coming from the parents. Of course the kids would be afraid when the parents are making such a production over a doctor visit and having to get a “needle.”
Alexi Steve Jesus Christ, I don’t want to think that way about these folks. It was obvious Justin was having a hard time. Besides, nobody wants to see those kids crying, so that would be a weird thing to do for the camera. I’ve seen parents off camera just people not into filming their families going on and on explaining something logically ad nauseam to young kids that didn’t have much of a chance of understanding. The ones I know say they really want to explain EVERYTHING in a logical way. I know this one kid that never got to believe in Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny because the parents really did explain EVERYTHING logically. I just think Justin’s style of parenting might be a little bit like those parents. He seemed so desperate to explain things without realizing that it wasn’t helping until Ava spoke up. I think he just didn’t know that “the why” of things doesn’t necessarily help. Maybe after the appointment that kind of explanation would help? I don’t know. I really do think he was trying to do his best to prepare them. The tough thing about shots is that it does hurt more if the person is moving around or tense. Remembering to breath, then breathing deeply while it’s happening, thinking things like, “The pain is brief. I’m perfectly fine.” or whatever resonates. “I am safe, I am safe.” Practicing breathing and self talk before the appointment at home and even while sitting in the waiting room has been a big help for me. Just, if you’re not used to deep breathing, don’t go into a doctor’s appointment hyperventilating. Anyway little kids can learn meditation. I’ve seen a kid’s section in a couple of the more popular meditation apps. Headspace and Insight Timer. I wonder if lullabies would work too. The smell of lavender or vanilla?
Always loved the girls but Jersey is absolutely adorable omg!!! Funnier than it should have been when he came out & jumped over those steps so content ahaha can’t get over how great his vocab and understanding is 👏🏾 GO ON JERSEY!!

I laughed when seeing the family on their way to the needle appointment. Always love the communication between parents and children or between each other in this family ❤️. But about the flu injection : in Holland only people over 65 and younger people with chronic heart and lung diseases and people with a weak health get the flu vaccine . Other people are advised not to take the vaccine so their body will learn to protect them by building a better defense system against bacteria and viruses. Our pediatric immunologists advice not to give healthy young children flu vaccines.
My doctor won't give me one. And I never get the flu. But everywhere else I go I'm asked to take it. Now it's free. So I feel like something's up with the whole flu shot deal.
I love your conversations with your children! The Girls have really progressed in their speech! The McClure Family I think that’s why he is learning so fast because of the girls he’s been on a mission of keeping up with them and it is truly paying off . He’s very smart has a big boy conversation at such a young age . That vocabulary is awesome go Jersey.
Jersey is an amazing child. He has a mind of his own and he is so chilled. Aww Justin looked like he was going to cry. He doesn't like to hear his girls cry. Alexis: " Thats not the good news! This is not even a outfit, this is a piece of paper!" ROFL. The twins were not having it! I love how protective they are of Jersey. Lol Alexis facial expression in the car when asked about her experience, her eyes were spitting sparks!😥😘
My daughter (7) just got her flu shot, 2 months ago, and when I tell you it (she) was a HOT MESS...I mean it was horrible! She screamed, kicked, wiggled. I, physically, had to hold her still. I told her that all of that nonsense was NOT going to stop the process and she IS getting this needle. Just for her not to feel the needle when it was administered. She looked at me and said, "oh...i didn't feel that." My stress level was so high and I was so annoyed, I wanted to just leave her at the doctor's office. Being a parent is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It pushes you to be the best, most patient, most loving, most forgiving, most giving, most compassionate version of yourself. It pushes you beyond your breaking point, just for you to land into a more beautifully evolved version of you. And that's only after those little trolls baptize you by fire.
This made me me cry a little bit 😭🥺 Watching them cry was so hard but they were cute though 🥺❤️❤️ Alexis made my heart melt and they didn't want their little brother hurt🥺😩💞❤️. I hope they're all fine and happy again 💗❤️💞

Dada you should be very grateful for this blessing you have in your family. Jersey is your main-man for real. I will keep watching and learning how to be a parent like both of you. Love you McClure's family
The kids were as strong as they good me, given the circumstances. Jerz Man saying he's just going to do it was sweet. All three of the children have such empathy for each other. Ami and Justin, good job explaining and helping everyone get through the flu shot day! Thanks for sharing and posting this, as it was such a great teaching process for toddlers and young children.
Awwww to see Ava & Alexis so concerned about jersey is the most heartfelt sweetest thing such big sisters 👯♀️ they are so loving and jersey is adorable 😎
OMG!!! I Love you all. You guys are wonderful role models for all us parents. Wishing your family the best. Such beautiful, smart, amazing children!! Thanks for all the great videos. Keep it up!!
Aww I feel it for the little sweetums, nobody likes to be poked, but it's for the better, hope they all feeling happier now, hugs and cuddles for them.❤
AWWW JERS MAN WAS A LITTLE SOLDIER, HE DIDNT CRY AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT HE WOULD …...LOVE THIS MOMENT THE GIRLS ARE SHOWING THE DIFFERENCES IN TEMPERAMENT AND DEVELOPING THEIR SEPERATE CHARACTERS/PERSONALITIES
Omg I’m so early I’ve been watching you guys for long time and I just how positive your family is and one day I hope I can have a happy and beautiful family like you guys
Jersey was very brave, he will be a great man! Thank you for reminding people of the importance of vaccination and for being a kind and caring father to Jersey and the girls, both are very important examples!
This segment had some of the best one-liners of any video. I was literally crying (not because someone snuck up on me and gave me a needle) The kids cracked me up. The girls statement. That Dr. is going to dig into Jerseys butt again. Priceless! and so many other great lines.
When Ava said “there hurting jersey!Tell them to stop!” That is the prof of a protective older sibling doing her job protecting the kids younger then her the prof she loves them her siblings 🥰 ❤️🩹🥹
Too funny when Alexis was talking about her painting and Jersey was repeating her. Then when he spoke about his work, it was AWESOME! I also love how the girls take care of him when playing. They are so genuinely good and patient with him. Now let me finish watching LOL
Some days you get to make slime, and some days you have to go to the doctor...life can be tough for a kid ;)

Dada you should be very grateful for this blessing you have in your family. Jersey is your main-man for real. I will keep watching and learning how to be a parent like both of you.
Love you McClure's family
I'm still sad for them if you're not broke you don't need fixing
The kids were as strong as they good me, given the circumstances. Jerz Man saying he's just going to do it was sweet. All three of the children have such empathy for each other. Ami and Justin, good job explaining and helping everyone get through the flu shot day! Thanks for sharing and posting this, as it was such a great teaching process for toddlers and young children.
I love their parenting style ❤️
Mom and dad, you guys are blessed. You have three beautiful kids and they are so sweet. You are great parents and you are training your kids so well.
Jersey gets so big... he also very brilliant 💯❤️
Thank you!
Oh poor babies, they'll understand when they get a little older. I love how strong Ava is being and wanting to get it over with.
You have such a beautiful family!
Aww I feel it for the little sweetums, nobody likes to be poked, but it's for the better, hope they all feeling happier now, hugs and cuddles for them.❤
Children are honest! Alexis said "It was BAD!"
He’s soo cute ❤️
Jump4n ikr
Justin, your way of teaching the children is outstanding. Each child has an advanced vocabulary!
Jersey is the man he said he's just gone do it. Go Jersey!
This segment had some of the best one-liners of any video. I was literally crying (not because someone snuck up on me and gave me a needle) The kids cracked me up. The girls statement. That Dr. is going to dig into Jerseys butt again. Priceless! and so many other great lines.
Awww, future doctor here. Makes me sad that this is what kids will think of me loll😂😂
You are mean but you help 😂😂
Omg you guys a so adorable , you made me cry as you were havin' your shot. This is all part of life gotta deal with xx
It's a bear... No, it's just Jersey!🤣
He make me laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When Ava said “there hurting jersey!Tell them to stop!” That is the prof of a protective older sibling doing her job protecting the kids younger then her the prof she loves them her siblings 🥰 ❤️🩹🥹
7:00 is the most hilarious part. Expressions and all
Too funny when Alexis was talking about her painting and Jersey was repeating her. Then when he spoke about his work, it was AWESOME! I also love how the girls take care of him when playing. They are so genuinely good and patient with him. Now let me finish watching LOL
"This is not an outfit it's a piece of paper" "It's a changing pad" 😢🤣
Hopeful Homestead I died at that part 😂😂😭😭
Awww , I almost cry, Thank God they went thru it. It was necessary, I don't want to see them sick.
