I was 15 when this came out. As gangster rap had become popular, tupac trued to modernise hammer's style, dropping the MC, unfortunately it just didn't suit him, despite this song being not bad. Ironically rap went back to the mc hammer, dancing and flash style in the end.
Hammer wrote this in response to The group 3rd Bass, mc search & Pete nice taking a rap beef to an unnecessary level by making references about Hammer's Mom (NOT EVER cool)!... Nonetheless the beat sampling of Brick's "Dusic" is hard & Hammer's flowing, still bumping it in the car!👍🏿
