"He's in the closet, he's out the closet, we dont like you either way!" Is soul crushing but also wholesome as hell, the gang couldnt care less that Mac's gay, they care that Mac's Mac
Fun fact, a few lawyers have calculated the cost of 17 hours of legal arbitration, with 3 seperate arbitrators, and found it would cost about 8-12 thousand dollars on average. Someone on the writers staff must have had personal experience with said costs.
The reaction to Charlie stepping in dogshit was the same as the reaction to Charlie catching a leprechaun lol. Hendo just looking in absolute horror and Dean cheesing from ear to ear haha great intro btw I agree with you. Charlie saved his life, he should get the ticket.
This episode is one of a few that the youtube channel "Legal Eagle" has covered. He goes over the law-related aspects of using private arbitration as opposed to taking someone to court. It's pretty cool. He also covers the World Series Defense, and the Cereal Defense.
Wow! What an introduction! Really pulls the viewer in and makes me feel like I’m part of the gang. Im so inspired I NEED to watch all the way to the end and watch all adds. And yes, it’s the HIMYM bar set. The piano drops in front of the steps to Ted and Marshall’s apartment.
Fav Episode, so happy you guys are finally up to it. "I feel like im finally hiting my stride" ( i think frank said that once in the back of the car.) hitting our stride here boys, PS go dees Hendo
I love this episode. So good. Though he wouldn't be entitled to the ticket either way, what Frank did actually isn't a crime at all. He would have to call Mac the "F" word and than like assault him or something. But you're allowed to call someone whatever you want, you just have to deal with the consequences lolol.
Absolutely one of my favourite ever episodes, with possibly the finest comedy prop I've seen in the fisting bike; perfectly set up at the beginning with Mac complaining to Charlie about how hard it is to walk before the dog turd.
The show could’ve ended here and I wouldn’t have been upset about it.. one of the shows longest running joke since Charlie Got Molested..Mac coming out
Season 13/14 Glenn / Dennis stepped away from the writers room to do other stuff but then came back maybe that's why so many ppl hate season 13/14 me I love em but that may explain some things just saw an interview Glenn gave and as always love you boys ❤
It's TIME for some heroic stuff!! "Gay or not, we don't like you anyway" 😆😆 Those are some real friends. Love the switch of roles! Dean got the intro almost righ, but it was good. And the end was hilarious! Hendo: ...you are you again. Dean: I'm me...? Hendo: Hey, don't jerk me around, fella.
This always struck me as trolling the censors. Sooo many things you NEVER see on TV; smoking, the N, F and C words the S word literally meaning feces... fists.
So a hate crime is like if you assaulted or murdered or robbed someone because of their ethnicity, or other things they’d be targeted for calling names doesn’t count no matter how terrible.
If that ticket goes to anybody but Dee I would throw a fit. Pretty sure if you agree to arbitration you also agree to be bound to the ruling, but "I picked up the thing you dropped before you did 'cuz it literally blew in the wind" being the basis for a ruling is bonkers. It's a comedy show I couldn't care less but irl I'm quitting my job to spend the next three months doing everything I can to make sure that arbiter never gets hired again. "Thanks for dropping my cell phone out of your pocket, I wasn't sure how I'd get a free cell phone otherwise" - a legally normal thing to say, apparently Can I do that with a cop car when the cop walks over to the car of the person they pulled over...? If a cop drops their weapon and I grab it did I just legally obtain a free weapon....? I have "ownership." They have legal rights to ownership for both of those items via registration n whatnot, buuuuttt I'm pretty sure that's what a receipt is for a lotto ticket, sssssoooooooooo... Guess I'm gonna go get a free cop car today :D Tomorrow, everybody speeds. There's a new sheriff in town. No speeding tickets but the littering fine is 70 years buried under my shed. Why? *shrug* who cares. I don't even like speeding. Just sounds like a nice tradeoff. No more littering but you can speed all you want, I don't drive much so it won't bother me
Sorry went a little crazy there..... I would also bow to Dennis seeing as Dee bought it with money she was given for a different purpose. I don't know that a tip is the same kind of transaction so I don't know that Dee would actually be legally obligated to use that money for a tip, but even if that were the case I would still feel alright if Dennis got the ticket since it was his money................. But point is that ticket def doesn't belong to the other three. It's either Dee or Dennis. Frank can save a trillion lives, it doesn't entitle him to money. Charlie, I adore you, but gtfo, this has nothing to do with you. Mac, stop stealing things people drop. 100$ either Dee or Dennis
100$ XDD heck no I won't edit that. Obviously meant 100% but looks like they only get $100. I guess I charge almost as much as three arbiters for roughly nine seconds of consideration including the part where I had to immediately correct myself xD
@@TroyJScott Yes way. I like bottle episodes a lot, and I like Mac, and I like the rare, more genuine moments of emotion. And it was a really funny episode to me.
Not sure how lottos/scratchers work overseas but after Mac pays the taxes from the ticket and pays the Arbitrator, he'll actually be in the hole. Think it'd be around 10% of the ticket if I'm right.
Still not sure how I feel about the direction the show took with this episode. Is a Mac with the slightest scintilla of self-knowledge any sort of Mac at all?
Ah, yes, the episode where Mac comes out of the closet. Great episode. Though I'm sure absolutely sure they won't lean into Mac being gay super hard. Of course they wouldn't do that, right?
Did you know that word slave comes from Slav? So when you say Africans were enslaved you mean that they were turned into whites and consequently denied of their culture. This is the kind of mental juggling these modern people do to try to control words people say. Great reaction, btw
I think this is the last truly great sunny episode, and I wish it had ended here. Mac finally comes out but the gang remain as awful as ever and still feel like themselves. After this point I think they all gradually devolve into caricatures.
nah the last season, 16, was a true return to form. i seriously recommend checking it out if you havent, some of the best episodes of the entire show in that one. i think starting the podcast and really analyzing what made the show so good helped Glenn Rob and Charlie a lot
@@PoisonDartFiend I really enjoyed Frank Vs Russia but the rest of the season was disappointing. It was better than the previous couple of seasons but I miss the feel and higher rate of jokes per minute of older sunny
"He's in the closet, he's out the closet, we dont like you either way!" Is soul crushing but also wholesome as hell, the gang couldnt care less that Mac's gay, they care that Mac's Mac
That’s a small detail not many talk about .. the gang WANTS Mac to just be comfortable in his own identity.
"It's not a gay thing or a straight thing, it's a Mac thing"
Solid 9/10 opening from Dean. He may have missed 'reaction' but came in with such confidence that I didn't notice until Hendo pointed it out
Fun fact, a few lawyers have calculated the cost of 17 hours of legal arbitration, with 3 seperate arbitrators, and found it would cost about 8-12 thousand dollars on average. Someone on the writers staff must have had personal experience with said costs.
It’s always sunny is one of the few shows that can have all the characters in one room talking, and there some of the series best episodes
Dean did great with the intro!
IT'S TIME
YT algorithms got me by the balls. They knew to put this at the top of my recommended

3:15 IT IS PHIL???
Back to back great lines by Dennis
The blooper scene for the bike are hilarious. Mac tries to ride the bike and gets punched right in asshole.
probably one of my favorite episodes of the whole show so glad we’re on it now
If I had a nickel for every time Charlie said a hard R on this show... (you know the rest)
You'd have 10 cents

ponderosa wedding too i think
The best subtle gag is when Frank says “I was bird watching”
He was looking at Dee across the street 😂😂
He was peeping under women's clothes, that's what he meant by bird watching. He just happened to see Dee.
Wow! What an introduction! Really pulls the viewer in and makes me feel like I’m part of the gang. Im so inspired I NEED to watch all the way to the end and watch all adds.

Wow! Way to go, Dean. We were missing out on this by having the other guy do the intros. Wish you would do them all the time.
One of the best (if not the best) episodes of the later seasons. Outstanding
I love the way you both continued in reverse characters through the whole video.......
Fav Episode, so happy you guys are finally up to it. "I feel like im finally hiting my stride" ( i think frank said that once in the back of the car.)

Love the Freaky Friday intro😂😂🤣🤣
One of the best episodes in the whole show 🙏

@@TroyJScott Agree to disagree then 😅
I don't even think it was top 5 of the season, let alone the entire series.

Such a well written episode. As ridiculous as it is, it actually makes you really think about who deserves the scratcher.

Legal Eagle did a good recap of this episode.
Spoiler, Dee would get the ticket
And Frank was in the right to say whatever to get Macs attention in a life or death situation
Absolutely one of my favourite ever episodes, with possibly the finest comedy prop I've seen in the fisting bike; perfectly set up at the beginning with Mac complaining to Charlie about how hard it is to walk before the dog turd.
Charlie with both N-words from the entire series xD
There's three. The club promoter says it before Charlie in episode 1.

How on God’s green earth could they have gotten through that scene with the bike without busting out, laughing the entire time???
They didn't, watch the bloopers 🤣🤣🤣🤣
NGL I was betting on when one of you guys was gonna ask "So, is this a bottle episode?" LOL
The most wholesome thing about the gang is that they don't hate Mac because he's gay, they just hate Mac.
the intro had me rolling
This episode is so wild! Hahaha

great stretch of eps! can almost hold a candle to seasons 5-8!
