Girllll, never skip the shoes! I find great condition shoes others don''t grab all the time in the bins. I found authentic ROTHY'S in the bins! Definitely check those shoe bins (:

I recommend always doing a shoe sweep at the bins, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you can find among all the worn shoes. The gems do exist! My bins are very competitive especially for shoes & I love walking by after they've been picked and finding brands like Miu Miu and NWT Allbirds!
I found that Zara puffer in faux leather and sold it for $180. I paid $30 for it at Goodwill.

I’ve found 5 pairs of rothys in my 2.5 years of reselling all for $6.99 or less in great condition. So exciting !! Happy dance every time lol 🎉great finds nice haul , I agree maxi dresses sell well 😊

Your thrift store prices are crazy!!
I have noticed a lot of Target, new with tags at my Goodwill. I will be in Portland in March for a conference. Maybe I will see you out thrifting, which of course I will be doing while there:) Those Judy Blue jeans will probably sell overnight. I don't find them often, but when I do, can't keep them!

Yes one of the Goodwill stores in my area near Seattle does that section new with tag. It does help but others may take stuff from it before I get there.
My Goodwills in my area have lots of Hanes, new in pack, items in men, women and children. Since the Hanes Corporation is near by, I assumed they just donated their overstock items. Now you have me thinking that Goodwill might be buying pallets! I learn so much from you!
I love sell Judy blue jeans. Because they sell for good money and very quickly. Also love your videos I learn a lot

Rothy's how exciting! I found that same La Ligne dress in a different color at that amazing Nordstom Rack sale a few months ago. Unfortunately, it's not doing well. 😕 Don't pass up the shoes at the bins, I find better shoes at the bins than I do at the stores. The last time I went I found two pairs of Free Birds in excellent condition! I'm sure no one else knew what they were. Some days are definitely better than others. 😊 It's hard for me to go to our regular Goodwills now too, I feel like I find much better things at the bins now.
Oh dang! I was so excited to find La Ligne but their sweaters do the best. Ohhh that’s awesome!! Okay, I am now motivated to try harder to find shoes at the bins 👠👟🥾

My stores in NJ have had a ton of nwt adore me for the last 6 months and i went to a few in Connecticut recently and they were def buying target pallets

I think it might be different in various parts of the country. Here in NE we get lots of (still $$) NWT Brooks Brothers at local thrifts but I rarely see Target or many other brands.

I live in northeast Ohio and our goodwill recently got a lot of Zara. They now have a section dedicated to Zara mostly new with tags. That makes me think they got a pallet, unfortunately they overpriced it.
My Goodwill usually has tons of NWT Target clothing. I always wondered why that was 🤔 I would LOVE to find some Rothy’s! I’d probably squeal like a little kid 😂. Always love your videos. Thank you!

So it's not my goodwill, but a salvation army near my best friend's house has a whole NWT Zara section -- like four racks. A lot of flawed items though so you really have to look over the items carefully. I just assumed they were getting it all from a local Zara store, but maybe it's liquidation pallets of irregulars. I find some nice Zara pieces there and even though they're a bit priced up I have made great money from that section. Beautiful coats and dresses, but I can't profit off the more basic items.
The Goodwill in Lakewood, WA also has a lot of Target and Nordstrom NWT clothes!

In SoCal and my favorite thrift has tons of NWT Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Zara, Target, Athleta, Lululemon, Chicos. I almost guarantee they are buying pallets. But it’s been like this for years.
My Goodwills also buys pallets. There is a lot of Zara, I’ve also found Coach dresses. I’m in Texas.
Sorel is one of my favorite shoe brands to sell! I’ve pretty much sold every pair I’ve bought. Also, I’ve found many new shoes at the bins in Portland! I think they may get donations for Nordstrom rack or like you said they buy the pallets.

There were a lot of factors at play & I talked about some of them in the I Can’t Do This Anymore video. But yeah, I think the economy is always something to consider with sourcing and business strategy!

Just started watching your videos and I've really enjoyed them. Did you say you are actually from Wichita Kansas? I'm from Wichita. Our goodwill stores are getting so ridiculous on prices but the prices where you are seem even higher. I'd love to have one here that had the bins. We have started getting stores that are bin stores but they are not goodwill they are like from Amazon or something. Things are sold for a set price and the price changes daily. It's by piece. Pretty good deals sometimes.

Central Indiana here and yes lots of NWT items but most of the stored mark them waaaayyyy up and we have no color sales anymore here
Lots of clearance NWT Target at my local Goodwill. I always assumed Target donated what didn't sell as a tax write off... I never considered that Goodwill would be buying liquidation 🤔 interesting!
Don’t you love it when the gw employee attaches the tag to the sleeve!! Adds a nice big ole hole in the sleeve!! 😡 First world problems I know but it drives me batty. Love your videos 😊

One thing ive noticed is if the original price is still on the tag then they price it up to high heaven but if the OG price isn't there then they price it WAYYYY cheaper!

I have not seen a lot of NWT inventory in my thrifts except every now and then I will see some of just one brand as they get donated there from local stores. Judy Blue I learned about from Cayley Elaine about a year ago and love them! I usually pick up my Rothy’s at consignment stores who actually price them better than my thrift stores! 🎉 I did have a question - when you check comps, do you check for a particular size or just check your item in general? Thanks for all the content!
Wichita has been dry!! I don’t think they buy any liquidation 😂. Have to go to half of half for that😉

How do you figure shipping costs?
Just a question Moji Beth. Do your Goodwill stores have a boutique section near the front of the store with typically higher quality items in them? I feel sometimes they do the sorting for me ha ha! Not the case all of the time. I do find treasures for reselling in other sections of the store. The prices are much higher in the boutique section also. Just curious if you have these too. Thanks!!🧐
I started shopping at the bins, too, and now I'm broken to regular thrift stores 🙃 Do you still sell your reseller spreadsheet? I absolutely love your data and layout.
ALL locations of one thrift store chain in my area sells NWT Target brands, and marks them UP. Even of the item had a clearance tag saying $7, the thrift store tag says $18. Rarely do I see someone with that item in their cart. And it is a "Boutique" item... Cute pieces, but not for that price.
I find that Goodwill has really hiked up their prices. They're on to us! lol

I've noticed my goodwills will write "LP" on some brand tags, and those items are almost always marked up. I wonder if it stands for liquidation pallet?
