- Another fact is that almost all the people involved in receiving this undeserved gift in the first wave of gospel expansion were white, from which some deep thinkers concluded that it was the winsomeness of our whiteness that drew the gospel to us as our due reward-which grossly misunderstands the nature of true gospel. The gospel is only for wretches, which the Europe of that day was full of-wretched savages. Being proud of whiteness on that account is like somebody noticing that the first six people who went forward at a Billy Graham crusade all had blue eyes, and concluding from this that blue eyes were the key factor, and not the prayer of repentance.
And the people who hate whites, envying them their cultural blessings, are like the tenth drunk getting saved at that crusade being upset because a drunk up ahead of him got saved first. It is all beyond ridiculous.
But all of it was the grace of God, promised centuries before, and not one ounce of it deserved.

It takes a life of suffering to face the reality of a world of sin and death. If Mr. Wilson had undergone that degree of suffering, he would be poor, have no ministry, and no one would listen to him.

What he fails to see is there's virtue in caring about white wellbeing. If God created white people, blessed them an over abundance of talents, gave them the necessary intelligence, ingenuity and the freedom and liberty in which to spread the gospel around the World. Therefore, wouldn't it be morally correct to work together for the preservation and care of God's creation?

That could also be set of Hispanics to a slightly lesser degree. 90% of blacks vote for the Democrats. Non whites in general vote overwhelmingly for the Democrats. Wasn't for white people there wouldn't be a Republican Party. Even evangelical Christians who share the same faith as pastor Doug Wilson vote for the Democrats more than the Republicans. This is my first thumbs down for my favorite UA-camr. Terribly disappointed with this video. Wilson reads Spangler's definition of race realism, then proceeds to completely ignore it. Then he abuses Spangler for a variety of things which Spangler doesn't believe and even calls out not believing. For instance, Wilson indicates that Spangler believes whiteness constitutes some sort of merit before God, when no one believes this save 6 FBI bots. Spangler even states, not far below the definition quote, "There will be no ancestry test to enter glory: the sole criterion of the last judgment will be “faith which worketh by love” (Gal. 5:6)" Does Wilson not understand that it is the differences which are permanent, not the races or any particular member of them? What was the point of this video?
At least I got introduced to Spangler, who seems an intelligent and reasonable man from the first 4 parts of his essay.
I also discovered Spangler’s piece by way of this video, which I found to be very thoughtfully written and undeserving of these mischaracterizations. Certainly one could argue against Spangler, but one should do him justice and show up with real research having been done, instead of amusing metaphors.

What makes talking about race difficult is the term and definition of the word "race" itself. It seems like were stuck with it but really its a confusing and useless term. If we were to use the exact same taxonomimical standards for humans as we do with any other animals what were referring to as "race" would be sub-species. Imagine the political blowback of calling someone of a different race a different sub-species it would seem to be incredibly dehumanizing. The politically correct euphemisms we have to use are not serving this conversation.

Exactly why Doug refers to the early-twentieth-century conception of 'race' that we still reference so universally as belonging on the dust-bin of debunked science. It makes as much sense to talk about the 'negative-blood-type' race as the 'white' or 'black' race from a genetic standpoint; which makes it clear that what we think of as 'races' are primarily just distinct cultural groups and so-called race realism is junk science at best.

@@theocrat8477 that is silly, the "race of Adam" is the species. Humans are one species, the human species. Noah's sons went to different continents and from them we have different races. Within each race there are hundreds of ethnicities. This is biblically and scientifically irrefutable.
There is no biblical definition of either "race" or sub-species and the idea that Noahs grandchildren were three different colors or that they evolved differently has no scientific credibility.

I'll let someone else critique your arguments in this video, I'm sure they'll be more articulate and succinct than myself. Or you could investigate the work of someone like Jared Taylor. (Not on UA-cam, of course!)
All I'll say is; as a rule, the longer your video, the less convincing you tend to be with your arguments. Ironically, you tend to argue like a leftist by muddying the water before triumphantly defeating a straw man.
In other words, I'll sit this one out.
I like Doug very much, and in the main I think he's a great counter-balance to the Evangelical Industrial Complex, overlooking his curious Zionism. However, he is way too hack-job on this one.
Ultimately, truth fears no scrutiny, and truth also respects no feelings. We have a tidal wave of data and a current reality. No side (at least within the conservative wing willing to even discuss the issue) denies the reality of cultural disparity - the fact that some cultures chronically succeed and flourish, while other cultures chronically flounder and fail. Within that discussion, one side says racial genetics is upstream from the culture. The other side says no, the culture itself shapes race.
The thing that is interesting is that the race realists will acknowledge that some aspects of what Doug mentions: geography, etc., have a non-zero impact on race but this is marginal rather than determinative. However, people on Wilson's side deny that racial genetics even has a marginal impact on culture - any other explanation will be hunted down and seized upon to avoid any aspect of genetic pre-determinism. This seems to me to be begging the question. So I find that interesting.
I am a mutt of a human so I have very little emotional investment in any of this, but I do find the whole question fascinating from a scientific standpoint. I believe it would be far more edifying to see Doug have a careful discussion, on equal footing, with equal time, with someone like Jared Taylor instead of monologuing. Taylor tends to show up with a real body of evidence in hand. Taylor is rarely defeated in straightforward, dispassionate debate, but for all I know, maybe Wilson will spell his downfall. I think E. Michael Jones is the only one I've seen to really give Taylor a run for his money; many believe Jones won that debate. Certainly if you want to delve into the big-boy discussion, it would be a more profitable use of your time than this entry from Doug.
Right on. I would love to see a substantive discussion between Mr. Jared Taylor and Pastor Doug Wilson. I appreciate Doug's take on a lot of issues but on this topic he is weak.

I recommend listening to the video again and sorting out when he is quoting someone else and where he is further defining terms and specifying concepts. My skin color is immutable, my grand children's could be basically anything. So skin color is both immutable and mutable in that sense.
@@RebekkaMH13 he didn't even mean that. He said that a white population would exist in the future but he also pointed out that the ancestry of that future white population would not be the present white population. That's what's not immutable. In ecology, it's called gene flow.

Regarding Doug's opening clip belittling White men of Christendom, who carried the gospel across Europe and then to the entire world, remember the words of Jesus, who said to the Jews: "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." (Matt 21:43).
That "people" was Europeans, the sons of Japheth, the people of Christendom. Whites. The Lord's words echo what the prophet Samuel said to King Saul, "Today the kingdom is taken away from you and given to a neighbor who is better than you."
No people can take credit for God's work, but you can certainly judge a people by their fruit. Europeans produced the fruit of the kingdom of God for centuries, such that most Christians around the world today can trace their spiritual lineage through Europe, which is exactly why Satan hates Whites and wants to erase them.
I highly recommend the Stone Choir podcast series, "on human race" for a much more thorough Christian analysis of the question at hand. We cannot play Satan's game of belittling Whites while claiming to honor our Christian forefathers.

A perfect illustration of this is in the QB of my longtime favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes has a white mother and a black father. He also married a white woman, and their kids easily could pass as fully white, blonde hair and light colored eyes.

The children of mixed race parents cannot receive bone marrow transplants from their parents like other children can. This highlights how biologically estranged this family is from one another. There are websites dedicated to mixed race people because they have a hard time finding donors for medical transplants and other health needs.

In real life, things happen, the chips fall where they may, everyone plays the cards they're dealt. Those who are with us are with us, those who aren't, aren't. Who lives and thrives and who doesn't, God decides. You simply have to live out the truths you're given in life, and turn the page. We are not the authors of our own destinies. Civilisations rise and fall and races and cultures rise and fall. The strong do what they can, the weak suffer what they must. There's no 4D chessing your way out of a roulette game.
