My Modified Version Of NightHawkInLight's Mini Dart Gun

This uses a preform that would've normally been made into a soda/water bottle for the air chamber, a piece of 5/16" steel brake line for the barrel, and a piston made from a short piece of PVC pipe. NOT included in NightHawkInLight's original design was the stainless steel spring seen in front of the piston. I think the rubber sheet that I used to make the face of the piston was too soft/sticky, and that caused the piston to stay stuck to the end of the brake line when it was supposed to slide back and allow the compressed air to escape through the brake line. The spring simply pushes the piston away from the brake line to make sure this thing will fire every time. Seemed like a simpler fix than making a whole new piston and having to find a different rubber sheet. Fantastic, you can use copper wire, the solid kind 2.5mmp, cut into short pieces of about 1cm length and try that.
