This performance of SOS made Dimash an overnight success in China and surrounding countries. ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS is the closing credit soundtrack from an Italian sci-fi fantasy movie starring William Shatner, Gerald Depardieu and Bruce Payne among others. This movie premiered in Italian cinemas on October 8th, 2019. Dimash was chosen by the composer who's also the music conductor, this movie's director and co-producer to sing this song, Mr Piergiuseppe Zaia. He said in an interview in Italy.....in order to present ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS to Dimash, he had to hire 3 singers with different vocal ranges....still none of them could really carry off this song. Dimash sang this song all by himself. This song's MV is available from Dimash's official UA-cam channel(1.07mil subs).
He was the only non-Chinese singer on this 2017 "I Am Singer" competition. All live, with an excellent live orchestra. So they especially would not edit or augment him to give him an advantage over their native singers.
Also, he had the first performance on the first night of the 2017 show, which went on for weeks in a foreign country where he spoke just a few words of Chinese. I think the che-che he said at the end was maybe a quarter of his vocabulary.
