I'm glad you mentioned that we need adequate recovery. My trainers always emphasized recovery , but I didn't listen and always followed strength training with heavy cardio. When I turned 50, massive burnout.
Tracy’s and your trainers’ advice about recovery and rest is so important. Injury is not our friend, and is sometimes inevitable even if we take rest days. In January especially people tend to over exert. Oh, happy-to see you here in our tribe!

Im feeling this. What a great workout. My muscles are fatigued . I'm glad I chose to move today even though I didn't sleep well. I ued 12. 17 20, 25, and 30 lbs for the workout. HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉
Great strength workout. Definitely feel my arms have been working hard. I too feel the need to do strength workouts to keep healthy at my age. Thanks for always giving me the motivation.

I had started going to the gym at the beginning of summer and had stopped with home workouts, but the further into the school year for my kids, the less time I have to make it there, so I've come back to your fantastic home workouts.... and boy, do I feel worked! Thanks again!
My first time to work out with you! I will be 67 in a couple of months and have decided I want to see results not just check exercise off my list! What a great upper body workout!

Wow amazing upper body straight strength workout. Challenging rounds intense and strong. 😅 Using 22 lbs, 18lbs, 15lbs, 10lbs and 8lbs In the last round I held on to the 15lbs and the arnold press I used the 8lbs. I had a good time. Thank you Tracy.👍💪❤️

Sorry, I am off on the calorie count lately. I'm having some health issues where my heart is racing and am now on a beta blocker for a bit. That of course slows HR downs substanitally and anything I am tracking is not an accurate representation. Once I'm off of those, I'll put it on again. :)
