Such a gorgeous outcome. I Do luv the look of texture. Even though the paper prep is a bit time consuming it looks well worth it! You do a great job explaining each step as you go. Looking forward to seeing the finished page....Hope you are doing well. See you soon!👍🥰
Thanks so much Valerie, much appreciated 🌸💕
This tutorial is a lot helpful to me, I just learned how to do watercolors backgrounds on y Hanna Karlzon books 🙌🏼, I need to buy the masking fluid before thanks a lot for your videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the kind comment
Thank you for the video. I am catching up on videos and have set this ready to be my company in a few minutes, when I want to finish a last minute Christmas in July page! ❤
Thanks for watching Amberle. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think.
Oh really, you mustn't be nervious, when you do your videos! You do such a great job! I really like how good you explain everything and some very good tips, of what not to do. I can totally understand though, that you can not talk when concentrating! It's the same for me. I really tend to get quiet, when I concentrate. 😊
Thanks so much for your kindness, I'm developing a bit of a block about the videos, not quite sure what's going on with me, but I will ride it out and hopefully start feeling more confident again one of these days.
Thank you so much for making this video - I appreciate the time you took to walk us through this process. It turned out fabulous. Your salt worked super well, I've tried with coarse salt with mixed results. You use a lot more water than I've tried. I need to work on my mixture consistencies. I forgot to use masking tape on the back of the page I tried recently. Thanks for the heat tips I normally get smudges from the paper or plastic protecting underneath LOL I'm going to try this method, you've inspired me to try again. Have a colourful weekend 🥰
I’m so happy you’re inspired. It’s a bit nerve wracking using so much water, but it makes the paint flow . It’s a fun process although time consuming. I hope you get good results and enjoy it.
Nicely done!
Thanks so much 🌸💕
Oh I totally understand that. I also get down with my nose to the paper, when I'm colouring and when filming, that is not possible of course. I never used masking fluid so far. But I have bought some and wanted to try it at some point. Your background turned out very beautiful! The effect, that the salt created is quite nice. Ah, ok, that I was interested in, if the paint seeked through. But it is just a little bit. Not too bad. Oh, just if you wonder. I am very slow with coloring. So I often color a bit and then take a break. That's why, it also took me some time to get through the video. Because when I have my break, I leave the room to move around a little bit. I can not sit for too long. So, very beautiful video! Tfs.
Thanks for letting know that you also get really close to the paper, I'm pleased I'm not the only one. I'm glad you like how the background turned out. Thanks for your support.
