The plotline from Heroes to Shadow 05 where there's the big shadow Android reveal and then they're like nevermind at the end of Shadow 05 pretty neatly fits the 'identity fakout' question. 2. In the IDW comics, which have been confirmed to be the same Canon as the games, Eggman gets his memory erased after Forces and becomes the kindly Mr Tinker before being brainwashed into his old personality and infecting the entire planet except for Silver into liquid metal zombies, which pretty exactly fits the last question
I thought of the IDW thing too but the description is that they were "never actually rehabilitated", which doesn't apply to Eggman since he legitimately was "rehabilitated" via amnesia, and I don't think he necessarily counts as coming back _worse_

"Accidentally" is a very operative word for #3. Sonic intentionally gave both those nicknames whereas the person behind the bear was supposed to say Christopher's name but messed up which led to the kid being renamed Christian.

7 I thought was referring to Eggman in Heroes, when they break down the massive airship and reveal it was actually an eggman robot, but then it liquifies and turns out to be NEO metal sonic instead
10 I thought was referring to the IDW comics where Eggman is thought to be rehabilitated and becoming a better person after a previous encounter giving him amnesia, but then he gets out of it and ends up making the Metal Virus, nearly causing the destruction of every living thing on the planet including him

He settles down in a village and becomes a sweet old man named Mr. Tinker, who loves fixing things and building toys for the local children, before Metal Sonic shows up and reminds him of his old evil ways

actually that's not the plot of sonic adventure. eggman doesn't collect the full 7 chaos emeralds, he only collects 6, it's chaos himself steals the full 7 off of knuckles in the final story, and only then does a city get destroyed, which was likely way way more expensive than that.
