- Oh the possibilities for the new trailer and its ability to become a rolling office that has tools! Or a tool trailer that has a mobile office! Either way, the countertop is a valuable piece of real estate in the small SMART tool trailer and it doubles for the office desk sometimes.
The next trailer I will design the nose area to house a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a stand up desk area with a computer screen of some sort for the tool trailer tour videos on YT!

Hey Steave. I love my work space/ counter top too, but struggle with keeping it clear. No matter the size , always wish it was a little bigger. I have a box truck with a Ron Paulk style setup. Put some T track in the top to mount different tools wen needed small drill press, bench grinder, but mostly the coffee pot. lol Thanks
Love those Countertops and Flat Spaces....you and me both!! I hope the new trailer will have a "desk" in the nose (If I can figure the right design) and hopefully, that is big enough! Hey Steve, do you have any plans drawn up for your new trailer yet? If so would you share some of them with us, or is it going to be a surprise? I've been working on mine, (likely a 2026 project) but I do have those things planned in mine as well, including a large office station where I can lay out plans and a laptop as well. He's a big advocate of Ron Paulk and his trailer design, you should look into those
Thanks for the comment Jeff! You hit it right on the money for a Paulk Trailer design advocate. I could not have dreamed up this design in 100 yrs so I was very pleased to find someone who could, did, and had inexpensive plans.
Hey there DBA! In good conscience and out of respect to Ron Paulk, I cannot draw up plans for my existing trailer or my new trailer since the old one is 85% a SMART trailer designed by Ron and the new trailer will likely be mostly his design as well with other modifications. If you like what you see in my small trailer, check out his trailer and designs on his Smart Woodshop channel and website. Plans are really inexpensive. His build videos offered some insight during my build. Thanks for commenting and asking!
@@sdsconstruction I get that for sure, but I meant just overview sketches for general layout purposes, not detailed plans, that's all!
@@DustyBottomBoysAK I think I have some rough graph paper ideas drawn out but being two years away from the build, I can imagine some things will change. I will look around for them and see what I can find!
