After watching the trailer I looking forward to this 30th anniversary To honor the Late Thuy Trang & my childhood idol Late J.D.F may the power protect you all always!
I’m going to restart my Netflix subscription just to watch this 30th anniversary special of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and other shows I have never watched before. It’s great to see most of the original cast return on set after all of these years.
They really should have made the original Dinozords in CGI just like the Wildzords, Dino- Thunder Zords, Jungle Fury Zords, Samurai Zords, Dino Charge Zords, and any other past Zords which are in CGI because the Dinozords in this special looks like to be done in stop motion as toys.
Ya but people would argue they didn’t stick to the originals if they went cgi. You can’t win that fight so might as well stay true to the show. That being said. The zords look good
1: that robot Rita face is awful 2: the command center seems to have been rebuilt and moved 3: I laughed when the plans against Rita were shown as the bandora protocol 4: zack seems to be the leader from the trailer I’m absolutely hyped for it!
All in all not bad. Some of the suits (like new Alpha, Robo Rita's hair/head dress and the Putties' heads/faces) and CGI (Zords) do look a bit off and even bit on the cheap side (well cheaper than what we're used to from Power Rangers). Almost like the MMPR Live Stage Show costumes cheap.
The trailer for once in always a ranger really looks fine, but I will say this much that Robo Rita looks like somebody just slapped a Terminator head on her body 😂. Also did anyone kind of notice how the saber-toothed tiger dino zord look like it was pulled from a Voltron episode and that the Tyrannosaurus dinozord look more sleeker in design and finally the Megazord the like it was one of those DX toys.
It looks slightly off because her head piece is a bit fatter and the hair is a bit shorter. So in some shots she looks a bit off. Plus her Madonna Bra was slightly redesigned.

I really love this hybrid MMPR team. Although Im going to be sad if we don't see Adam morph!

These are CGI... they just used ZAP Megazord models.
