Game looks great but unfortunately at this time unable to play due to having no option to invert Y. Saber have stated they will fix this in a future patch.
I don't understand how this got overlooked. Such a simple thing but it makes a game unplayable for 50% of people.

@@thermothymos I don’t see any way to invert the Y axis (PS5), so I’ve been trying to get used to playing as is.
I just uninstalled right away. I can't deal with games without inverting. I really hope they fix it soon for those who want the option.

I would love to play the game. I went to put it on and there is no inverted controls. So I had to uninstall for now. That seems like a basic oversight Hopefully they add it. The game itself looks fun.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: The game has no option to invert Y for the camera, which honestly should be unacceptable for any game release. If you play with inverted camera controls you want to avoid this until the option is added!
Normal people play games with normal camera controls. Why would I be aiming up with the right stick and have the character look down 🤦?
@@budyll1 Does it matter to what control schemes other people prefer? Define normal people, if you think it is relevant for what controller and camera settings a game should provide. In opposite to not being able to re-map or should er buttons, this one makes the game literally unplayable for those "not normal" people. Yes, it is mainly us old folks, but back in the 90s inverted was the default (and often only option) so I guess we stuck with that until today.
@@zikarisg9025 I was gaming in the 90s. I'm FROM the 90's and yet I have zero issues with aiming when up is up and down is down.
Just a quick question: when you pull your head up, you see what's above you, right? And when looking down, you see what's below you, yes?
You don't see the floor when facing your head up...
@@budyll1 It's a question of perspective, imagine the mouse or stick on top of your head, you push it forward you look down, you pull it back, you look up. Either the stick is parallel to the screen, or the stick is parallel to the floor. Since the mouse or stick is generally parallel to the floor, this seems to be more intuitive to me. I guess this is why flight control work like this as well. Relative position of the controlling device to the object to be put in motion. On a touchscreen where controls and motion are in the same pane non-reverse makes more sense.
@@zikarisg9025 when I was using a joystick in the 90s, pulling it towards me was moving the characters or camera down, just how it is in real life when you move your head.
Again, the same goes for the right analog sticks on consoles. You push the right stick up and you look up and vice versa. Having it correct to how looking in real life works wouldn't make me not buy the game.
If people opt not to buy it because of something like this, they weren't going to buy it anyway.

Was so hyped to play this but after downloading it I find out it's unplayable. No option to invert the Y axis. How can a game launch with the most fundamental option missing.

Why the heck do people want to have it so when you move right stick up, the character looks down 🤦?
@@budyll1 to look up you tilt your head back tilting the stick back matches that movement. All aircraft pull the stick back to top pitch up.
The reason it makes it updatable is that you're expecting to overcome nearly 40 years of muscle memory. To illustrate why it's so important, go play COD with the setting the opposite of how you normally play. It's impossible.
@@chrisis6 how I "normally" play? Yep, normally is pulling the stick up to look up and down to look down. I'm nearly 30 and I always play like that.
They should leave that out of every game it's unholy
