Here's a tip for someone without bad friends or a second console:
Reverse boost until you get in bad lobbies, then send friend requests to the random bad players. When you join their games, send more friend requests to the bad players in those games, and so on and so on.
Been doing this since MW2019.

Im not a fan of SBMM and I'm also not a fan of streamers or content creators abusing this, but the devs makes them do it. I understand why they'd do this...but the bigger issue is that the S in SBMM doesn't stand for skill...it stands for success. The more successful you are over time, the more the game punishes you. The problem is, it doesn't punish you by making you face more skilled players, it makes in game mechanics play against you (artificially bad latency, damage is broken -hit markers for you, one shots for them-, footsteps can be heard accross the map), while also pairing you with feeders for teammates. SBMM would be fine if it wasn't success based matchmaking. I am genuinely not upset when i get out skilled or their team just played better. But it's when you lose fights you know you should have won, but the game forced you not to...that's when i rage.

Sooo, "smurfing" that's what this is called. Either way, my problem is NOT SBMM, team balancing is what kills me in the algorithm; if the game wants to put me in the same skill-level matches, make sure that teammates are in the same level as well. As always, keep up the good content!
Tell me about it I have 40 kills every1 on my team has below 13 and enemy team is all at 25+

What your not understanding is that that bad team balance is apart of the sbmm system, making sure you lose and keep your stats where they want them. This game is not competitive at all, its a joke at this point between sbmm, team balancing, the fact the sbmm matches skill over connection guaranteeing the better you get, the worse your connection, and sbmm hit detection. And before anyone claims it's not possible, you can google Activision's legal patent documents for yourself.
The worse part is low skilled players haven't witnessed this side of sbmm so they think that they're actually good at the game, not realizing their opponent is shooting straight, but their bullets aren't registering. So they get to stay in their delusion.
Once I dropped 52 kills and 6 deaths on TDM and still lost bc my team was doo doo

No lie this is how I got my camos for riot shield back in MW2019. My son plays and these are his lobbies lol. He generally plays with other kids, so once I got the riot done I stopped, didn't want to ruin their fun.

i think once you hit level 50 you should unlock a non sbmm lobby mode where anyone with it off can queue in the same matches
the only people who would use that option would be the sweats

Honestly. The damn game has been a casual shooter since they made MW all those years ago. Bring in a ranked playlist if you want to have people play with each other ranked. I wish people would get out of the participation trophy generation mindset.

My issue with SBMM is they prioritise skill over connection, there should be an element of SBMM but ping should take priority. I miss the days that we could just stay in a lobby when we found a good one 😑

Cod 4, the original MW2, WAW are all goated and I think a big part of that was no SBMM. I don’t understand how someone can like getting wrecked by a whole team. Without SBMM there might be 1 or 2 good guys on the other team but you still had the entire rest of the team you could get kills. I’m trying to play video games not try out for a SWAT team
I'm all for mixed skill lobbies. Connection should be prioritized over skill matching. Sometimes you get an easy game sometimes you get a hard game, same as with SBMM but you actually want to improve. Purposely getting into games where you know everyone is low skilled is just kind of scummy though.
Might be scummy, but so is SBMM. It's a "two can play at that game" situation and I don't blame him.
I'm legally blind, but I have a reasonable amount of skill. Anyone at my skill level is better than me, flat out. Better reaction, better distance sighting, better movement, better aim, but still my skill. So, when I fight people ranked my level, I lose horrendously and stop playing the game.
Let's not even start talking about the fact I bought a damn game, only to have politics pushed on me from the start of it, and throughout.
i live in chicago and literally every game i get multiple random people with an area code in chicago or CHI clan tag, and this is with cross play DISABLED while playing on PS5. an overwhelming majority of people have the same connection in your region which is already heavily favored over skill in the matching making process.

@@malazan6004 Yeah I’m Australian and I get people from China and Japan in my games now. COD is so huge that I have never struggled to find an Aussie game before SBMM. Yet I’m matching people with 120 ping because I can aim and use my ears.

It’s my first ever COD and I was having fun but I started to become so frustrated when shooting an enemy up to 7 bullets and I’d still die first in 3 or 4 myself in the body. I had no idea this was a thing!! I mean, why in the world would to make a system like this?
And on top of that you try to get your camos done and every mf is running full meta guns
That’s why I like hardcore. I can usually get the first shot in… but I have terrible aim. In hardcore you can shoot them in the foot or elbow and it kills them
They made it because a bad player is going to have a lot more bad games than good games because of statics. When that happens they stop playing which means less opportunities to spend money in the shop.
To add onto the video, it’s a lot easier to get in to a fresh pre-game lobby using split screen set up. Have two controllers and your primary controller. A total of three controllers, have the two bots join party and then proceed to find a lobby. You’re almost guaranteed to get into a pre-lobby match, compare it to a single bot account most of the time you’ll be sent into a washed match which isn’t going to work. When you have two bot account split screen finding a lobby wait for that sweet number of 11/12. Join in quickly and boom have fun.
How’d you join with your main account? With another console?
I thought we had “ranked” modes in games that defeated the need for SBMM. Ranked, or CDL in MW2, should absolutely have SBMM. Public or social lobbies should NOT have any behind the scenes algorithms determining your enemies and team mates.
I understand it was made with good intentions, but all it really does is punish solo players and forces you to team up with other good players. What I don’t understand is when you have a full lobby of good players, you rarely match enemy teams of similar skill. They’re usually a bunch of bots and it defeats the purpose of teaming up in the first place. I see this in a lot of games and it just shows me time after time that SBMM is a flawed system and they need to try something else.

They try to protect noobs via sbmm so that they spend money on the game, but it's easier than ever to join their lobbies
Here's the problem with sbmm, you do well you go up, its harder but you do well again

Go up, it's just a curbstomp but you were positive and had a decent kd
You go up and fight sweats you didn't even think existed and go 6 and 28
Then you go down to a level where ygo 27 and 3
Then you go straight back up to the sweats, it's honestly just a yes or no button whether you're going to have a good match because you can't have 2 good matches in a row
I have to be honest. I hate SBMM ... but even if you play such rounds, you only play with bad players and not with a mixed skill level. The old cods were so fun because you played against better and worse players. The mix made it so great. Great video keep it up bro

Huge content is such a big thing, we have more bundles then content in the game and even then, the bundles are terrible 😂. They even took away custom avatars that the community makes, gunsmith paint jobs

I’ve been trying this for weeks. It doesn’t work. It always, ALWAYS, says “lobby full, error: gambling”. I think they have some way to stop this, it’s never worked for me and I’ve tried everything. I hate that I bought the game twice for nothing.

I had the same issue then I started doing it with split screen and its actually working. I also hit start on the bot acc and go one tab over to see the lobby count and if its 12/12 just back out and try again. Have the bot acc invite your main acc so when you see that the lobby isnt full, after it loads and shows the players, you can immediately take the spot up on your main acc. Still not always %100 success but youll get some.
Do you need two separate Xbox gold accounts to do this?
We know to get the bot lobby now but do we get the vault edition or evern the standerd ? 😥

I mean, I'm sure this method works, but this method is not worth it if you are not a content creator imo. I only have a few hours to play this game every day and I don't think it's worth it to throw away a significant amount of time pretending to be a bot to get lower lobbies. SBMM is here to stay, I'm sure everyone here hates it, but in the end it keeps the player count high on this game. If you play normally you'll still get a few game where you can pubstomp and having those games is very rewarding. Of course you'll also get pubstomped from time to time by lvl 250, mastery camo demons, but just back out if you're not having a good time. Thank you for listening to my ted talk.

if you have mw2 on steam to use another account you can link a fresh account or any account really to yours and play your games on that other account without having to buy the game again you can do it up to 5 different accounts i think

If u spend say an hour playing like a bot to get bot lobbies then when u go to ur main account to ruin kids days, u can play 1 game before ur kd goes way up and then you’re back to versing sweats
It's like you never watched the video. The whole point is for you to constantly join a low skill lobby and have the "friend/yourself" back out of the lobby every game.

Plus it’s like 20 degrees where I am and my hands are cold even inside so I’m not able to deal with these ranked type matches
So basically you want no challenge and just want to jump into a match with a bunch of noobs so you can get easy kills I myself don't necessarily think this is the best call of duty but I can still enjoy the game for what it is and still rack up some high kill counts without tricking the game into putting me in lobbies with noobs
I don't know why people feel like they SHOULD be in these lobbies with obviously way lower skill players, its kind of ridiculous, and the older fps games were shown to also have some form of sbmm

Have you been able to continue using this method with the season 2 reloaded update? They've added a session que when trying to join a friend that's already in a lobby regardless if it still has open slots. I haven't had any success joining in on a lower kd friend's lobby with this new change.

Too much work for me. 😏 I thought I had Casual enabled in the party options (some say it makes no difference), but maybe I didn't. I was shooting people in the back 4 or 5 times point-blank with a shotgun and they weren't dying.
Not quite related, but later on I went up against players with well over 100 kills in a single round in Shipment. Thought they were hacking and said to myself there was no way someone was getting 9 or 12 straight kills in Shipment without dying. Then found out you can switch to score-based scorestreaks, do those high-level scorestreaks were getting them all of those kills.

What people forget about SBMM is that at least CoD's version of it doesn't even protect your local low level player. The only group of people it "protects" are the ones who can't move and shoot at the same time on a controller, which isn't even working all that well on their end either, evidently. This isn't even an issue with other games and genres with SBMM in them, it seems to just be an Activision thing.

The level is less a measure of skill, and more of progression. Still sucks, since you'll be up against meta-abusing shitters, but what can you do

Why would vets want to play against a bunch of new players? Imagine being a person that goes to the gym for several hours each day to get really good, only to complain about playing others at the same skill level. Ayy Activision it can be so simple.... just give us a playlist with and a playlist without sbmm. One for the normal grind and one for the sweat.
Then all the sweats would be playing the non sweat playlist thus making the sweat playlist obsolete
They should just add ranked with SBMM ofc and keep the public matches whitout it , have an actual ranked playlist and a casual playlist it aint that hard but Activision is just dumb af
The argument that the sweats would just go to unranked isn't a good one. Siege has multiple avenues for hardcore and casual play, and the sweats definitely stick around in ranked for the glory and rewards of it. Besides (and this to me is an obvious tell that folks who make these arguments never played old-school COD) nothing pre-Advanced Warfare had SBMM. So, cry about it. The participation trophy generation mindset needs to be dropped.
@@gamermanzeake i feel that once ranked comes everyone will just play that , pubs feels like ranked anyways with how strong the SBMM is but there are no rewards for sweating your ass trying to win unlike ranked where you actually do get rewards for winning , i see no point on playing public matches anymore when ranked comes

I desperately need easier lobbies I got the game 3 days ago and I’m going up against people with gold camos
I got out the shield today. Never used it. I hate the shotguns and the shield. Always have. I just ran around hitting people with it. K/D took a big hit. Don’t care anyway. I’m usually a 2.5 or higher. Anyway, I was put in lobbies with COMPLETE NOOBS who didn’t have a clue how to play. It was fun just smashing them. It got me a high K/D after a few games like this and put me back in the hard chargers category. VERY different game play. Noobs were much more fun and the game was a much slower pace. Very relaxing. So, playing like shit really does help. Who knew? Haha.
I join on my 2nd console but it just puts me in the party with them and it won’t let me play with them??

Activision website patch notes:_......we've fixed a problem allowing higher skilled players to join lower skilled players lobbies and have fun.
Now the real question is... does it work on warzone?
