Yeah, I thinks it's a bit harder to shut it down co-op. I played solo and I passed it on the first try.
Aiden's plays better on default difficulty (play games often) because he can move around freely while Jody is better on the other difficulty (rarely play games) because the correct direction straight up doesn't makes sense at times.

You can get the hang of Jodie's directional cues! It feels really bad ass when you got a handle on it.
I wish they would try this again, but without torturing themselves on the hardest difficulty
I agree. I only played in experienced mode, and sometimes the direction you had to move Jodie in literally made no sense.
With that said, I also wasn't THIS bad lmao. Like to the point where I was consistently failing fights, like they are. I don't think I've seen them win one yet, except the tutorial that they literally couldn't fail. I think there's something about trying to play a game and stream at the same time that makes it harder to play the game, because I see this a LOT with Let's Players.
It makes sense if you play as intended, which is seeing the slow motion first to see the direction instead of rushing it.

I had a friend who literally pushed twice and her kid was out. sometimes you get lucky. other times you're in labor for two days and spend hours pushing. she was certainly lucky. but the REAL miracle was how clean that baby was. you're actually supposed to wait for the chord to stop pulsing with blood before cutting it. that's why it get's clamped so there isn't a bunch of blood all over. when my kids father cut her chord it spurted out blood on his new tan pants. lol

Tbh it's a little frustrating at this point. I've played this game (and let me be clear; I'm a very mediocre gamer. I'm not good), and the controls are not THIS hard. The game even slows down to give you more time. I'm not sure why Amelia couldn't figure them out, because I know she's not bad at games. I've seen her play other games and do really well. I just don't understand what about this she wasn't grasping, because it is literally just "move the stick in the direction Jodie is moving in".
I feel like maybe they should've practiced a bit off camera, so they could just focus on learning the game mechanics.

I'm glad they changed it in the end, but they should've changed the difficulty earlier, right back at the training montage, because I agree that this game has really sucky controls, but Jodi the ex-CIA operative just taking bats to the head and not being able to defend herself makes no sense from a story point of view.
Failing to shut down the condenser, and then failing to even speak to Jimmy, like what did they have against him?! Prejudiced cause he has an addiction.
I love Amelia and Bryan, too, but if you want the full story of Beyond Two Souls, this isn't the channel to experience it... :P
Although Amelia gets freaked out at the same stuff as me, so that's kind of nice, makes me feel less wimpy. :D

Oh thank god, they changed the difficulty setting. Not gonna lie, it was kind of frustrating to watch them fail every single fight. I'm not blaming them, I think there should've just been arrows on the screen. The controls are super unintuitive.

It took me a longggg time to play this game. It's great however I won't be replaying it once I'm done. I'm gonna give it to my brother to play and hopefully he can pass it on to someone else because it's a great game.

That's what I did with The Wolf Among Us. Played it, loved it, and ended up giving it to someone at my former workplace to play and keep. And she ended up giving it to her nephew after she played it, I believe.

I really can't wait until Quantic Dream's PS5 game. They come up with some really interesting stuff. Maybe extra terrestrials next, or fantasy with elves and stuff. Who knows.

When I played it, I didn't have too much issue with the controls. They worked pretty well for me if I recall. Guess maybe I just have knack for it. *shrugs*
I got the outcome when I missed 1 body to channel or 2 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. But I shut down the condenser as Jodie. Because I was playing the remixed version. Even if it's not my game, it was my cousin Diego, but I borrowed his PS4, and I don't have the game in my PS3. And my PS3 doesn't work the park of the disc reader.
Yikes on the whole self-defense ordeal with the gang beating up Stan. Looks like Jodie is out of practice.
Also, this game makes you feel real bad for the lives of the homeless and what they deal with, as far as people and weather conditions.

Fact: this game has a branching narrative. It is replayable. To see the many ways it turns out. Still the consequences aren't even consequences. The condenser not shutting down or not doesn't change anything. And they eat tuna no matter what. The thugs come back anyway.

Same lol if you just stick with the left and right you'll still win the fights half the time. I honestly flailed around randomly at first and still did better. I can't get into this playthrough like don't call yourself a gamer if your this bad at it and try to blame the game. They couldn't even scavenge for money correctly it's sad.
The biggest problem to me was that sometime the character was sometimes like going at the right, and also down, so I didn't knew what to do.

it's a survival horror that lends itself to stream, seen in the first person and it's not like Resident Evil. It's a bit like Alien Isolation.
We run and we hide. And the atmosphere is scary, we see some monsters but the threat is suggested. And there is a philosophical message, especially about identity and what makes me ... me.
You guys should try the life is strange game if you didnt do it already! Meet Max, Chloe, Sean and Daniel.
Is that true though? Maybe I sound like I'm bragging but the controls are pretty easy to figure out. Just keep practicing. Then again with people watching it's extra hard to play well
They are really not gamers. Amelia and Bryan had rarely played to games. Me I was born with it, and I had some hard times with the QTE, because I never had done something like that.
The controls are hard but they're not this hard. I'm a very mediocre gamer, I played on the hardest setting, and I passed every single QTE. I do think it's a stream thing - because they're trying to do two things at once, they're not really focusing on the game. They've had to be told BY the stream before to stop watching the stream and play the damn game, because they got lost in the stream chat.

I know it sounds bad, but I thought the tiny entities that were surrounding her were kind of cute, especially their squeeks. I didn't know you could get rid of those with Aidan, I think after you get the guy's attention you can shoo them away. At least that's what I read, never done it myself.

Man, in this game, it's sometime so hard to know where the character is going. Sometime he is going at the right, but also down. It's harder than the others games where you just have to press what they say to in the screen, like DBH.
