I already had chills when 2:31 hit on the official audio BUT NIK, MY DUDE that delay tone somehow made that part hit even harder and it's like every time I get to 3:07 I feel myself as a drummer just wanting to feel out that pause/fade & slam down on the crash just to embrace the power & atmosphere of the end of the song.

Yeah I was going to use my 7 since that is what I'm more used to with drop A but I saw Nick 100% use the 6 so I thought I might as well just do it as accurately as possible

I still miss the early MTS but this is pretty damn good too. A good culmination and evolutionary blend of both their last two albums. I still wonder if the change was because Sean was unable to keep up with the deathcore vocals. Ive seen in a lot of videos where his live vocals have been pretty meh when it comes to their heavier songs though im lead to believe that, thats partially one of the reasons.
I think the stress was too much for his vocal chords.
Yeah I've seen them multiple times and he never really goes to the low growls he used to. It's more the mid to high vocal fry now, exactly like in this song. But when you're their live, you barely take notice when you in the pit having the time of your life
Those low growls have me so wet each and every time.
