I dreamed of a game about 2 years ago about a game called "Classic Sonic Adventure" where it was Sonic Adventure in 2D, beginning to end, Emerald Coast to Perfect Chaos. You could play as all six characters with their stories and 2D cutscenes. I was a little surprised to see this on my recommended just now lol.
Now i want to actually make that '_'
the shadow gameplay looks better than all the others. you think maybe if sonic team had the same ideas for sonic powers but kept it 2d it might have been better?
Tails is my favorite character so if I had this demo I would have played as him for the WHOLE ENTIRE game.

Pretty good amongst the multitude of Sonic fan games out there. Sonic and Shadow should both have the wall jump and homing attack imo tho

Everyone plays like Sonic Advance (plus Super Peelout for Sonic), and Shadow is like Sonic Rush but with better physics. Nice
This looks pretty cool a lot of elemnts from the classic sonic games - music as well. Love this. Would have loved to see the boss fights!

Shadows gameplay looks the most interesting to me. Probably because i grew up with the modern games
it also appeals to me because i grew up with adventure 2 and shadow feels the same with his homming attack and his boost while i liked it in rush when i borrowed my sisters game i didn't feel like the boost was that good in rush but here i feel much more better here than that

this was very cool. I was expecting and still think it would be amazing if it was sonic adventure 2d levels. Emerald Coast, mystic ruins, station square, casino, that mountain level, the windy level etc

This is one of the cleanest, most well done fan games I've ever seen. I love the new and imptoved graphics, and the music is spot on.
I will say, Shadow and the appearance of characters like Big the Cat confuse me a bit. I like the idea of trying to create almost a "classic Shadow", but it does seem a bit out there. I excuse it though, especially considering the name being "Sonic Classic Adventure", which implies a bit of Sonic Adventure included as well.
I know I’m responding a few years late to this comment but maybe the point of Big being present was for cameo? He made plenty of cameos in SA2

Where can I find the sound effect which plays when I choose a character or an option in the main menu? This 'jingle' doesn't seem to be in the game's files.
