I really liked this anime's slow reveal that he's actually the demon lord of this realm, not just a hero or onmyouji.
Technically he's not....He's just occupying the demon lord's body. He's not even aware of it until later on the manga

2: He's not aware that he's occupying the demonlord's body.
He IS not the demonlord if he decided he want to change a body which HE CAN the real demonlord will then emerge
@@samuelrodrigues3197 I'm not buying that explanation, there's been nothing shown that proves he can switch bodies and there hasn't even been anything that shows there even is another person that was supposed to be the demon lord, he is the demon lord.
I didnt expect much at first. But turned out I liked it so so so much. This anime really good. Need s2 soon

it was time rewinding jutsu, the jutsu rewinding their state to before he was arrived at the castle so they didn't remember anything, at least that's how it was in the LN.
It is a level of flex on multiple levels.
It tells that he is really strong.
It shows that he can be very ruthless, or not.
This Guy is on whole another dimension compare to other people in the anime. Not even hero herself is on his level and and most of time he is heavily holding himself back@@johnsmithfakename8422
