I first saw Tony Shalhoub on the TV show "Wings". He was absolutely sensational. Then he was in "Monk". And he was hysterical in his movie role as Primo in "Big Night".
My mom is going to flip when she sees this interview! She had Monk reruns on repeat for years. He is the absolute best. Of course he’s a family friend to the Meyers. Of course!

i watched Wings for Crystal Bernard... but Tony was a gem on that show.

seth doing all these interviews with really good actors with storied careers, he's kind of like the non-sexist, non-racist dick cavett. (don't watch dick cavett! it's a 60s interview show with great guests and some of the most famous assholes in america.)
