#18 just gave me a really cool idea. Shoot missiles that grapple onto things, then make them deploy parachutes.
Getting them to match the speed of the target and not just crash into it would be the hard part.
True. I just remembered that one room from the Incredibles that had those black-ball guns. I'd like to see Danny try this.
Rowan Nagel So long as it didn't make them just bounce (and you're talking about things that are hardy to destroy than parts, like asteroids, planets and the universe) put a few cubic octagonal struts in front of the grabber. A few would slow you down to a more reasonable speed.
If you got a missile to reach the target, and fitted it with a parachute and grapple unit... why not just replace those with explosives and slam it into the rocket instead?
Because KSP doesn't have explosives. And it's more fun
The last one genuinely scared me! I wasn't expecting that!

"It's fuel" is correct, "it's" shows ownership to the spacecraft, the ship owns the fuel.
***** Jacob B. "It's" contracts "it is". Belonging to "it" is a special case, where the correct word really is "its". It's really a pretty forgivable mistake, especially if English is your second language.
For anyone wondering how he god the Sun to be that close to Kerbin, and how he went to -50 m. below Kerbin, he used the mod HyperEdit. It's super fun to use!

I counted 18 disasters where launch escape towers would save the kerbals.

how can i do the "supernova"??? i tried modifying kerbins orbit direct to the sun but with that method when i click "apply" the game thinks i left the universe cause the altimeter looses his numbers and the whole screen goes black

Oh man it would be a really cool game mode if there was a huuuuuuge asteroid in a collision course with kerbin and you had to get enough science quickly to research a way to evacuate the facility to another planet. Since the only kerbals on kerbin are in the space center haha. But, maybe say there are 100 kerbals, and only 15 of them are trained to fly. You can go to the mun, but, maybe its orbit gets fucked and it falls away from the earth. Duna would probably be the best goal. Idk. Fun ideas.

Guys, imagine if there would be a ‘space-race’ multiplayer mode in KSP 2 and you could start At different spots on Kerbin and you could roleplay being at war and can do this type of stuff and just drop Orion emgines on eachother...

Hey Danny, but, just for the record,
The sun will go Nova, not Supernova.
only MUUUUUCH larger stars will go Supernova.
BisaLP if you want to get _really_ technical: Kerbol is 6-10 times as dense as Sol, so it may in fact have a high enough mass to size ratio to go supernova.
Nova isn't a word that describes Supernovae.
Nova just means Strange in Latin.

And guess what. Kerbol is smaller than the sun. (MUCH smaller) It would A. take not billions, but TRILLIONS of years to go nova.
B. It would be a VEEEEEEERY pitiful nova.
Alomegasupreme Kerbol is about one tenth the size of Sol, but just as dense, some of the planets are denser than neutron stars.

"Just as dense" Means that it is a 10th the size, and therefore a tenth as massive (unless you meant diameter instead of volume, then 1/1000 the mass), because SAME density means just that. You probably meant it was the same mass and therefore had higher density. SECOND, none of the planets in this game have the density of a neutron star, considering a neutron star the size of a CITY would have a mass greater than the sun; any of the planets in this game having neutron star density with their size WOULD turn into black holes bigger than any natural stellar mass black hole, and WOULD suck every single thing in the solar system into itself WITH A QUICKNESS.
For the love of god people, please leave correcting people to those who actually know what they are talking about, instead of trying to correct me because you don't like what I say.

This channel is my favorite. I absolutely lose it to warped ragdolls and hilarious explosions
# 25 was no super nova. It was the formation of a red giant at like 100000 times quicker. A super nova is when a relatively large star turns in to a red giant due to a loss of fuel (hydrogen), then it expands and contracts a few times until it explodes. That explosion is a supernova. Our star (and the one in the game) are relatively small - definitely incapable of a super nova.
After a small star has become a red giant, it becomes a planitary nebula, then a white dwarf.
After a relatively large star has become a super nova, the outer layers are blown away, but the dense core is left.
And finally, after a relatively huge star has become a super nova, it froms something that you are all probably familliar with -- the back hole.
I hope that you learnt a lot. (Fyi I'm in yr 9 top set science).

Weird things that happened in this series: jousting against a planet and winning (rovers), random explosion (kerbals), walking weird (kerbals part 2), ghost cockpit merges with normal cockpit (launch), Armageddon (launch), crashing the game (launch), convenient supernovas (launch), and breaking space-time (asteroids)

"Don't Launch It", This is very effective. You could also replace the engines with rubber ones, or just disconnect the "Launch" button from the control panel.
