Langhua is an absolute witch. She sat there, beside Xiyue who she knew was longing so much for a child of her own, and she pretended to comfort her even though she knew VERY WELL about the basil seeds. What a horrible, black hearted person
This is doubled in her comment for those who don't know - You learn about the bracelet in this clip... Gao, the woman she's "Consoling" has one as well... that is also poisoned to make her infertile. She's telling Gao that she'll be okay when she has a kid knowing full well that she made it so Gao could never have a child.
I don’t understand why the Queen didn’t see that Jia was using her to get rid of anyone who challenged her status and Gao was mind controlled too dislike Ruyi.
She wasn't 'brainwashed' to hate Ruyi. She hated Ruyi all on her own and because the Empress hated her too they were a good pair. Empress just saw Gao as someone she could use as well as the fact that the Gao clan was powerful so if She had a baby that might put them above Fuca which is the Empress' clan and Fuca would be furious if that happened. Jia just used everyone because her homeland wanted the throne for themselves to control the country and gain power.
Why did Ruyi get to keep the bracelet while in the Cold Palace? All of her other jewelry was taken away, and she was demoted to commoner status. Seems like that bracelet should have been taken from her before she entered the Cold Palace.
It was a marriage gift from the Empress when Ruyi became second wife so it was a gift she possessed before becoming his wife and rising in status in his harem; while not a gift from the Emperor, because of its value and symbolism (and his ridiculous superstitions), the Emperor viewed it as a symbol of marital harmony via the gold content and precious gems in it. In this regard, Ruyi wouldn't go a day without wearing it. Even though she was being punished unfairly for things she hadn't done, at this point in her life, she was still crazy in love with him and believed in him in all regards. She had not yet reached a point of being disillusioned and disgusted with the kind of man he had become from the young man she fell in love with during their youth together. She also didn't want to insult or anger the Empress by *not* wearing it. The Empress could make her life a living hell just as easily as the Emperor could; maybe more so because the Empress ruled over the harem concerning food, fabric for clothing, quality of servant, spies in her servants, coal for heat in winter, etc.

This bracelet is from the empress before she came to the Forbidden City which is not from emperor. So she could keep it , I think.

事實上如懿沒有柔順也沒有善心對奴才 劇中完美化對我而言 噁心
應該立即拆穿廢后
