I can imagine watching birds in Costa Rica must be beyond incredible. It seems like so many exotic animals are every where you look and you have the perfect binoculars to view them. Nice video

Costa Rica is a magical place and full of interesting birds and other wildlife. Is also true it has some many similar looking flycatchers and fast moving raptors that having the best possible gear (both in weight and sharpness) is essential to enjoy birding more properly.

Those bins look really big for 8 x 32`s, kind of put me off looking further into a possible purchase.

Hi Derek. Please notice there are two different binoculars involved in this video. The ones in the chair are the (bigger) 10x32 and the ones on Juan Diego's neck are the smaller ones 8x32. You can look at all the specific size of these two binoculars here: www.swarovskioptik.com/int/en/hunting/products/binoculars/nl-pure/tech-spec/nl-pure-8x32

@@lifer-birdingtheworld6896 Thanks for the reply; the link you gave me shows the dimensions and weights of the 8 & 10 x 32`s are identical. Never mind when the shops get back to normal I will try and get some `hands on' experience with them.

Question and help. I’ve been considering the NL’s for some time
Now. My only hold back is that at closer ranges, say inside 50 feet, the image is very flat, 2 dimensional. Is this typical with binoculars?
