    Dear, usually i loose interest in following tutorial, due to dragging an tapping on the object. looking at wire wrapping projects, i thought it was sooooo very complicated. thank you very much for doing it very adequately, not too fast, not covering piece with your fingers, not too slow, just right! Your work is stunning, yet you made it feasible for complete beginners as well. thanks once more...

    I get it, wrapping the coil around that larger base wire is so satisfying! I'm loving this, I think I'm going to try out this design, but instead of a coil I'm going to use up some viking knit I made. I don't have square wire or half round lol, so it will all be with round wire.

    How do you keep from scratching your wire with the tools? I am new to wire wrapping and have not figured out to do this.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts 6 років тому

      You can use Nylon pliers if you want, they won't scratch, otherwise you just have to be careful, and if you get just tiny scratches they may come out with polishing.

    How do you calculate the length of the coil to know how long the coiled coil will be?

    • @OxanaCrafts

      I don't know if there is a formula, I just cut my wires extra long so I end up with excess but this way I know it will be enough

    I cringe every time I see those wires getting damaged. Please consider investing in some nylon tipped pliers.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts 6 років тому

      I have some, but they tend to be bulky and not as easy to use, I usually just buff out the scratches in the wires afterwards, with sandpaper.
