Hi Bob and Jenny. We are just home from a weekend at Tewkesbury. We loved it here. Unfortunately we could only get a grass pitch and it was a bit soggy to say the least. Pitch 21. I loved the block paved hardstanding pitches though and morseo the short walk into a lovely town. We will return to this lovely quiet site.
I should have watched this earlier this morning as we have arrived here today our very first time out motorhoming as it’s all new to us I love how everything is close to hand here just need the weather to improve xx
Thank you for yet another informative video. We are currently staying at Cirencester thanks to one of your previous videos. We love it! Keep up the good work Bob and Jenny. 👍
Great site Tewksbury. We were there on April 12th for 4nights. On pitch 132 all serviced pitches had bin booked. Bk again in August. Have great time we're away wk tomorrow. X
Always like TA as a site. Nice easy access to the town and a Morrisons up the road. We have sold our caravan and are waiting until 18th May for our Pilote MH. All new experience for us but your Vlogs have kept us entertained and convinced us to give Motorhoming a try.
What a sensible site! All club sites I have been to shut the toilet blocks in the mornings which I never really understand. How sensible to close them late afternoon.
Great video ! 😃 Do you travel with a full ish tank of fresh water or do you make sure you only have a certain amount in it when before you leave a site ?
Depends where I'm going. Quarter tank if going to a campsite, but maybe a fuller tank if going somewhere water fill ups may be difficult. Do remember the weight of water - a full tank may make you overweight, especially if your Motorhome is 3500kg max weight.
I don’t bother wearing the band for the toilet block, I just take it with me. Tewkesbury looks a nice site close to town, one to add to the list. Are the brick paver pitches because it gets flooded? Presumably the gravel might get washed away in the floods.
A great arrival as always. We’ve just returned from there, one of our favourite sites now. Loved the location! Thanks guys

Looks a nice site , really like the trees around some pitches . Thanks for showing us
We stayed there last September for two nights. Nice site, lovely town and amazing abbey.
Looks like a very nice site. Never been in this area of UK. After watching we have now booked for a few days at end of September.
Lots to see and do.

Have fun with the new Motorhome
Thank you so much for your video, we’ve just booked this site on our way down to Cornwall and back in September, it looks lovely xx
We liked it.
Enjoy your stay in Tewksbury, hope you get to tour Abbey xx
We did, thanks, next video.
Did they let Poppy in to the Abbey? We did a tour of Norwich Cathedral and they let dogs in there.
Looks brilliant! Hasn’t changed much in 40 years.

Another good video Bob and Jenny one it's nice there were you are any way have a nice say take care see you next time .
Thanks Bob and Jenny, I am there at the end of this month so this was very useful. Enjoy your stay. xx
Looks nice there. We should be there later in the month, heading west. Can’t wait to see the Abbey 😃👍🏻 Trev
Thanks for taking me along with your journey. All the best, from Croatia.
Be sure to check out the Peregrine Falcons nesting in the nest box on the main tower of the Abbey.
Easy to get caught out with 'standard with awning ' at Tewkesbury, expecting a hard standing and ending up in very soggy grass! Nice site though.
😊👍

Hi Bob do the abbey bells still chime the time at night?
I heard them around six in the morning, not sure they chime during the night. If they do, I didn't hear them.
Hi Bob..Nice chatting to you at Broadway . We were courtesy of Deb one of the site staff able to see the Wanderer. Now did YOu eat the pork pie?
Thanks, nice to meet you too. We will have to get back to Broadway. I was going to ask to get in to see the Wanderer, but reception was closed. 😕
We did eat the pork pies I'm afraid to confess. 🐷😁
@@BobEarnshawMoHo real pork pies ?

And you do it very well thank you.

Yes, they probably get regularly flooded.
