Predictions review with 6 races to go: Haas: Actually pretty decent, mildly competitive overall with some standout performances from Hulk and a whole new chapter in the Geneva convention thanks to KMag. Hulk's winning by a sizeable margin, being in the top 10 ahead of Stroll in the standings. Oh and Bearman scored a point too. Sauber: All that was said about Haas applies to them. Best result of 11th in the first race of the season, and that's what keeps Joe ahead of Bottas. Also, potential 23rd in a 20 driver championship is nothing to write home about. Williams: Pretty much spot on. Lower peaks but not as many lows (not counting Sargeant not knowing what a km is and binning it into the walls). Albon is winning comfortably, though SarGOAT is out and Colapinto in, and he's giving Alex a legit run for his money. Alpine: They did fall off, so much that Really3D literally represents them as tractors this year. Started off with the worst car, though Sauber quickly took that title off them. Gasly's winning, but the margin is pretty small. Oh and there have been no teammate crashes, somehow. VCARB: Another fairly accurate one in the team standings. However, Yuki has been ok and Danny Ric disappointing outside the Miami sprint, so Yuki's winning. Also the Honey Badger is out with Lawson in his place for the rest of the season. Aston Martin: Yeah, preety good this one. They fell off, being a pretty lonely 5th in the standings. Alonso has put in some pretty good shows, though Stroll is still Stroll. No surprise there. Ferrari: Pretty good, decently accurate with Carlos winning a race and Charles getting the best ones to get as a Ferrari driver, Monaco and Monza. Sharl's winning out of surprising consistency, and regularly being a little bit ahead. Oh and Bearman scored some points too. Mercedes: Merc is decidedly 4th best, having some purple patches of form but overall decent. The points difference is greater then it should due to George being DQ'd that one time in Spa, but Lewis has been that little bit better. McLaren: Fairly accurate except for the fact that the constructors championship is pretty much theirs at this point. Spot on with the drivers front, Oscar having a banger, but Lando being a legit contender for the title. Red Bull: Yeah, no surprise on the drivers front, Max is the only driver that mathematically can't be beaten by his teammate now. However, there is the chance Red Bull fall down to third in the constructors standings, especially with the strike of EuroPérez. F1 Academy: Doriane is doing well, but nobody can stop Abbi Pulling. F3: Mini got close, but it ended up being Leo Fornaroli, somehow not winning a race all year and still taking the title out of sheer consistency, finishing outside the points just once and with no DNFs. F2: Prema was pretty disappointing, though Antonelli is ahead of Bearman with a couple of rounds to go. The title fight is still pretty good though, with Bortoleto and Hadjar absolutely smashing it. F1: McLaren have already pretty much bagged the team's championship, with Lando chasing Max for the driver's one. Still, the expectation is that somehow Lando will find a way to bottle it... P.S.: Lance Stroll is still nowhere near his first W.
No idea if you're ever gonna see this but you have to do a video on Conner Zilisch. He has multiple Trans-Am victories, just won his class at the Daytona 24h, has a karting world championship, and recently joined Trackhouse as a development driver and he's only 17. This kid could be NASCAR's Max Verstappen
Haas bashing was deserved. I don't get that team. They have 2 experienced drivers in a car that barely works on a race weekend. And it's been a trend since they started tumbling down the order in 2017. K Mag and Hulk can and will get points, but that car is always absolute shite! What's the point of having it work on it's way up into the top 10 on quali day, if it's gonna be somewhere between 11th and 20th on race day? They need to reform and invest in manufacturing. tbh, all the money Haas has wasted over the years by just buying parts instead of making them on their own, they could have had some good testing facilities built instead. Haas should quit tbh, and I agree Andretti would have a much better chance in F1
The only possibilty of a saving grace is that Red Buill bit off more than they can chew. Ignoring the main air intake for the engine/cooling above the driver's head they've got air intakes beside the driver's head, and two on each side pod. That's three intakes on each side of the car. That's taking a simple solution and making it a complex one. There is a possibility that they might have some teething problems with that. But on the flip side of that is "Adrian Newey". So it's possible that they will have zero teething problems and just straight up dominate.
My "crazy F1 prediction" for 2024-2025 is that... Haas is over. What? Did you folks really think Haas would be an eternal 10th F1 team? Really? That they would somehow be this team that would have a lasting impression? That they wouldn't go the way of Caterham, Marussia, HRT, Manor, and so on? Best-case scenario, they sell the team to someone else and it gets a rebrand. Maybe Andretti. But I'm guaranteeing that they fold before 2026. Haas won't be here for the next regulation era. That's my incredibly bold prediction. And yeah, it's harsh, but F1's backmarker teams come and go. Haas is no different. They will either shape up, or ship out, and it doesn't take a fok-smashing genius to see which direction they're heading.
I agree on the F1, F3 and F1 Academy champs for this year. F2 I think will either be Victor Martins or Ollie Bearman (with Zane Maloney and Kush Maini as potential spoilers). My predictions for other feeder series champions: FRECA - Rafael Camara, Tuukka Taponen or Alessandro Giusti GB3 - McKenzy Cresswell, Louis Sharp, Will Macintyre or Tymek Kucharczyk Eurocup-3 - Christian Ho or Sulaiman Zanfari Italian F4 - Freddie Slater (Kean Nakamura-Berta finishes as top rookie) British F4 - Deagan Fairclough or Gabriel Stilp Spanish F4 - Keanu Al Azhari or Andres Cardenas (top rookie Maciej Gladysz) French F4 - Jules Caranta

Just a small correction. Dorilton didn't know not to screw with the legacy, it was part of the deal that they had to keep the name. How long that is for, and whether that clause carries over if they sell to someone else, that is not known, but right now legally they are not allowed to change the name.
@@extragoogleaccount6061 i think RB will be ahead of everyone by a decent bit. and the 2-5 (maybe even 2-6) in the constructors is up for grabs like last year. If i had to guess now, RB Ferarri Mclaren VCARB Aston Mercedes (if VCARB is bad, move them down to 6, but Alpine and Williams will be close, and then Stake and Haas will be at the back.)
And then Stroll takes the title winning every races, getting every fastest lap, getting every pole, leading every lap and finishing over a lap ahead of everyone in every race
My bold prediction(s) for this year: RB will start strong, but the internal power struggle that led to Horner's investigation will cost them both titles. Horner is either ousted or he steps down (really the only difference is the public image of that situation), this will lead to Newey stepping down and maybe even Max announcing taking a sabbatical. But before the season is done RB will announce the sale of VCARB to Horner with days/weeks later Newey joining Horner in his new team.
Yout first monologue absolutely ROASTING the Haas and Andretti issues was fire bro 🔥 I agreed with everything you said about it and all of the teams outcomes in the first 10 minutes. I was yelling aloud, preach brother, PREACH! Haha loved your video and although it was a boring season as far as who the number 1 driver was, I actually had so much fun with the different changes of who was either 2nd, 3rd, 4th and also the technological and achievement elevation of the different teams. Aston Martin blowing everyone away being a close second best, then Ferrari, Mercedes working their way to the 2nd spot by literally individual points and McLaren! Who won me over and am a huge fan of now, espeically this season. Not just because of their potential, but because of the driver pairing of the ever awesome Norris, and addmittedly Oscar, as I am an Aussie. So I'm really looking forward to this season, regardless of who wins, the real story will be the top 3-4 teams and even the best of the rest. Can't wait! 12:30 leclerc will probably take the most polls, but sainz was literally the only person that beat max verstappen's win streak, and he finished higher in the championship..
Pin is one very fast and consistent driver... I can't wait to see her in a hypercar in WEC! I think she can win at Le Mans in the top class and WEC championships.
Red Bull will not be as dominant as last year... that sounds very nice to your ears but knowing that they can lose only 5 races and win the rest already makes it a worse season for Red Bull compared to last year. The grid will be more competitive. But Red Bull for sure with Max can and will still win comfortably.
I'm amazed Josh didn't go out of his way to predict a mid-season replacement with Lawson. Personally, I feel kinda certain about Carlos beating Charles. Carlos doesn't have to listen to team orders or weird strategies and Charles will want to prove himself to be at least equal to Lewis... and he has a habit of screwing up in those situations. I'd wish George would finally get his act together again and beat Lewis, but as much as I dislike him, Lewis has good pace and George has had his fair share of unforced errors.

I had to pause the Haas roast and rewind it to watch again. Beautiful
Josh has the same opinion on Gene Haas as I have on Albon
"Fuck off back to North Carolina" - they don't take him mate, Stewart-Haas is a disaster in NASCAR too
For real? Damm. That must sucked. He should take that as a sign and sale the teams.
Here after Australia gp this did age well 😂
Micheal Schumacher won a WDC in a Benetton… twice. And then won races in a soap box car painted red in 1996.
I think Russel will win out at Mercedes. I feel like now that they know hamilton is leaving tehey will prioritize him over Lewis
Props to you Josh for giving the feeder formulae some prediction love!

the haas slander was crazy💀
Alpine "at least they're not going to fall back down the order"
Two races in and this is already starting to smell 🤣
The rebranding of Sauber and AlphaTauri is even more laughable now that we've seen the two in testing. Commentators and timing tables only ever refer to them as "Kick Sauber" and "RB". People are never gonna call them Stake or VCARB cause they didn't give that name to their chassis, so while Red Bull were hoping the commentators were gonna call their B-team "VCARB", Crofty and co. are only ever gonna call them "the RB team". Way to go guys. Great new brand identity.
The way things have been going so far this year the only thing off about these predictions so far is Haas and Alpine are in the opposite position with Lando and Sainz already having wins.
Also, VCARB is doing quite well, with Yuki on a constant position for points, and Riccardo is struggling for points, except an epic sprint scoring in Miami.
Also the F2 prediction. Hoooeee people really overhyped tf outta Antonelli

Predictions
Alpine reliability will be a big issue.
Yuki will push too hard and crash frequently.
Sergio will push hard and crash frequently(will win no more than two races)
The top five will all get at least one race win.
Max and Charles will be within 75 points of each other, and Oscar Piastri and George Russell will also be within 50 points of each other. Lando will have a pretty safe buffer above and below him regarding points.
Australia will have two red flags.
Lando will win his first race at Silverstone.
10:23 That made me genuinely laugh out loud for the first time in a while, thank you for that.
Side note, may I get your opinion on Tuukka Taponen? He won FRMEC in quite a dominant fashion just a couple of weeks ago.
In a month's time, this video will age like milk
As a Cowboys fan, I wasn’t expecting a shot at the Cowboys in this video
But it’s deserved lol
There are F1 fans in Dallas clutching at their diaphragm after that one. 😂
Nah, i gave up on the cowboys many years ago. Stopped watching football all together 8 years ago.
@@pranc236 oh i have too. i have no hope every year but tbh i enjoy the dallas fans who overhype the cowboys every year then are baffled when they do what they have done for a quarter century straight lol... ahhhhhh so thats how ferrari fans feel
@@NikolaiPCulp 😂. Ferrari fans still have 10 years to go before they know what it is like to be a cowboy fan! I say what josh said weekly between august and january. 😂

We are going to have an epic showdown in F2 with Bearman, Antonelli, and Martins all gunning for the top spot. And let's not forget about Hadjar, he's my underdog pick. With serious speed, he just needs to keep that consistency in check. Trust me, this season is going to be wild
0:30 well we wasn't expecting an HAAS so good this year uh?😂 Hell even Komatsu said that they were expecting to be last in the grid!
As an excuse we really wasn't expecting Alpine really to f up this start of the year 😅 7:11

Leclerc vs Sainz didn't aged well (for now)

My every thought I’ve had about Haas shown perfectly with Josh’s glorious rant 🤣🤣🤣
He was spot on hey!
Predictions review with 6 races to go:
Haas: Actually pretty decent, mildly competitive overall with some standout performances from Hulk and a whole new chapter in the Geneva convention thanks to KMag.
Well, alone just scored a double podium
@@matt_v_photo Since the tractors don't get bothered by rain given their massive tyres and towering ride height, of course they did.
Both alpines crashed in monaco
@@suedtirol445 Yep, forgot about that. Ocon really did reach the stratosphere that time
No idea if you're ever gonna see this but you have to do a video on Conner Zilisch.
He has multiple Trans-Am victories, just won his class at the Daytona 24h, has a karting world championship, and recently joined Trackhouse as a development driver and he's only 17. This kid could be NASCAR's Max Verstappen
Haas is already wrong 😂😂😂
I live down the road from Haas HQ in North Carolina… I’ll just go stand outside & scream
Where is your same energy for Stake against the TAB then?
The Alpine part of this prediction already aged horribly XD
That haas rant felt personal it came from the heart 😂
They started going down the order in 2019, since they finished a solid P5 in 2018
@@sgt.thompson98my bad. forgot that the rich energy thing happened in 2019
The only possibilty of a saving grace is that Red Buill bit off more than they can chew.
Okay. I was NOT prepared for that Yuki pic ☠️☠️☠️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Expectations: Renault Alpine finishing P4 in Constructors Championship.
Reality: P8 in the Constructors Championship (After Jeddah).
My predictions for other feeder series champions:
FRECA - Rafael Camara, Tuukka Taponen or Alessandro Giusti
GB3 - McKenzy Cresswell, Louis Sharp, Will Macintyre or Tymek Kucharczyk
Eurocup-3 - Christian Ho or Sulaiman Zanfari
Italian F4 - Freddie Slater (Kean Nakamura-Berta finishes as top rookie)
British F4 - Deagan Fairclough or Gabriel Stilp
Spanish F4 - Keanu Al Azhari or Andres Cardenas (top rookie Maciej Gladysz)
French F4 - Jules Caranta
I was getting worried you forgot your biggest prediction of the year, thank god you remembered it last second

Damn you didn't pull any punches for haas
Just a small correction. Dorilton didn't know not to screw with the legacy, it was part of the deal that they had to keep the name. How long that is for, and whether that clause carries over if they sell to someone else, that is not known, but right now legally they are not allowed to change the name.
2 minutes of Josh shouting what all we are thinking about HAAS, that was glorious.
It wasn’t clear to me, what does he feel about Haas ?

@@extragoogleaccount6061 i think RB will be ahead of everyone by a decent bit. and the 2-5 (maybe even 2-6) in the constructors is up for grabs like last year.
If i had to guess now,
RB
Ferarri
Mclaren
VCARB
Aston
Mercedes
(if VCARB is bad, move them down to 6, but Alpine and Williams will be close, and then Stake and Haas will be at the back.)
one 'crazy prediction'? Carlos finishes the WDC 3rd. ahead of charles and Checo.
And then Stroll takes the title winning every races, getting every fastest lap, getting every pole, leading every lap and finishing over a lap ahead of everyone in every race
10:53 doing Tsunoda dirty
My bold prediction(s) for this year:
RB will start strong, but the internal power struggle that led to Horner's investigation will cost them both titles.
Didn't age well... Especially HAAS is doing good as of now...😂😂
Yout first monologue absolutely ROASTING the Haas and Andretti issues was fire bro 🔥 I agreed with everything you said about it and all of the teams outcomes in the first 10 minutes. Can't wait! Love your work mate 👊🏻 go on more rants in the future, after today, I back you hard 🤣

Haas is going to surprise this year, save my comment
Loved the 3s clip of Lando after saying "But the driver world championship..."
I like your projections but one. The f2 champion I think will be victor martins with Ollie bearman a close second. I also think either zak o Sullivan, jak Crawford, or isack hadjar will surprise and finish third with kimi finishing a strong 4th.
As an Andretti fan, thank you for your take on Haas
12:30 leclerc will probably take the most polls, but sainz was literally the only person that beat max verstappen's win streak, and he finished higher in the championship..
My favorite of these kinds of videos I’ve seen so far.
Josh basically manifested out the words that's been in my brain about Haas right now. Thank you.
How are the cowboys catching strays in a kiwi man’s f1 video 😂
