Thank you for keeping us informed with the upcoming weather. We're watching it closely here in Southwest Tennessee. Our town was hit with tornadoes last April and they hit 50 yards from our home in the night. It was really scary.

Boeing Corp must have taken over leadership at NWS. These blown, sensationalized forecast/threat levels are getting old. Marginal risk over my house today, HRRR has TS/hail over my house starting at 1600. Have blue skies…frustrating

You was so right about Michigan. I even took pictures and video but thank goodness nothing touched down. I've never seen clouds like that I mean it was all around us. I'm thankful for your weather reports I do keep an eye out when I see information from you. Kalamazoo and portage Michigan sky's looked crazy and had tails on them. I know the area i live in, southwest missouri, is very hilly and lots of trees, so i don't expect any HIGHLY severe weather, but i would expect some heavy rain/hail with this storm coming in. I've done some research and my area doesn't get tornadoes often, RARELY does one pop up and even then it's been 3 years since a tornado crossed through. Luckily enough though, the specific are i'm in looks like it has never been touched by a tornado. Remember guys, watch guys like Max, keep an eye and ear out, and stay safe during storms like the one coming up!

What does the orange & yellow means?
On the CIPS forecast tool? It's essentially a "slight risk" for the 15%-shaded area, and the darker orange is 30%. With that said, it's experimental, not an actual forecast. It's just outlining the areas of which severe weather is possible next week.

I take the part about clickbait back, they're misleading, a good majority of the area in said thumbnails is not even affected sometimes, and therefore its a bit confusig and vague. thier like boeing, kinda overhyped
