Cold Cuts will always be unique, that's a fact. As long as it's healthy, there's absolutely nothing wrong with looking up to or upon someone and emulating them. It's a sign of respect but can very become an obsession.

I understand why people hate on Riggs because he’s cocky without the talent. However, it was Riggs whole idea to bring golf content to barstool YEARS before golf content started popping off on UA-cam. Got to give him credit on bringing the idea to Dave and building on it. Now foreplay is very well known in the golf world and they are able to hire people like Dan and get sponsorships like TaylorMade

I think the real reason why BobDoesSports doesn't get much hate is because they have great chemistry, they don't take themselves too seriously and they don't have constant ego battles. I don't think the same can be said about the ForePlay group, minus T daddy which is why he gets the amount of love he does. People can sense good character through videos and you can't fake that... this video is a good representation of that - just 2 dudes playing some golf and having some fun

Nine at mine can be such a good series and FP is the perfect first guest.
If mine at nine and the two other series dan started (debuts with sahith and fitz) can take off that’d be great.
As an golf sicko, this was an absolute joy to watch. Two absolute sticks rippin shooters, cracking jokes and making niche golf references. Nothing was forced or over the top. I love the perspective both these guys bring to the UA-cam golf space. Foreplay content doesn’t usually cater to avid fans like me but this scratches the itch. Looking forward to more content like this in the future :)
Dan is such a massive upgrade for Fore Play. Such a great reporter, entertainer, and just a genuinely good guy. Keep him around

I realize the average fan of Foreplay isn't the biggest fan of Dan, but I love this guy. He legit loves golf and has great conversational skills. Doesn't hurt that he is a good golfer too....
As for FP....the man is a legend! He is by far my favorite internet personality out there right now.
Riggs made a great move by hiring him on. He brings a different perspective that appeals to the avid golf fan and not the causal fan. It blows my mind that those who follow Foreplay’s content can’t distinguish the difference.
I would watch a travel series with these two!

The reason Bob Does Sports is SO loved is because they don't take themselves seriously (outwardly), they can laugh at themselves, they are each personable and the biggest factor... is their SINCERE love for one another. It's truly honest and compassionate and they don't take for granted what they've accomplished. They feel blessed and it's why they are FIRE. Everyone else has to fake it now... just to compete because everyone else lacks the sincerity.

I rarely ever comment on youtube videos, but I couldn't not on this one. I came for Stubbe and stayed for the content. Dan is such a HUGE upgrade over the previous guys. Mad respect for both of the individuals playing. Stubbe is a legend and Dan is a class act.

I've only ever seen Dan's name on Twitter. I'm an actual fan of this guy now. What a guy, good golfer as well.
My take on the negativity is less about Fore Play being earlier to the market and more about the fact that it's almost become more golf coverage and less about dudes golfing. I liked Lurch and was sad to see him go, but I also think Rap brings more to the table as far as the coverage side of it goes. He was a well respected journalist for quite some time before he got this gig. It really just comes down to a very different type of golf youtube channel. I'm definitely a person that likes the coverage side of stuff (the podcast can be a bit long for my liking, but I watched the Good Good Championship in it's entirety because I wanna see the actual golf) so that may be the thing that sets the channels apart from each other. I follow like 10-12 UA-cam channels that are golf related, so I get my fix regardless. Great match though boys, looking forward to more of this series (BustaJack and Grant Horvat are a must if you can make it happen).

Nice to see FP return to the channel. His first video at quail was so great. Also nice to see the W for FP after a few on his vs channel that he didnt win.
With Frankie making comments like " our scramble team would be a top 5 player on tour" its not shocking as to why you guys get hate while the bob does sports team has a good community. They're built to have fun while the barstool guys have this incomprehensible confidence in the team despite being subpar golfers

Four play gets negative comments because Riggs cheats in his solo videos and lies about his handicap... he's also annoying. Nobody attacks Trent, Frankie and Lurch because they're honest, real guys having a good time and Riggs wants to act like a scratch golfer that knows everything.

It’s literally just Riggs. His swing looks like shit and instead of fixing it he just does the lazy thing doesn’t work to fix it and lies. It’s not like he doesn’t have the access to great golf pros
The reason bob does sports comment sections dont have the negativity that you see in this channels comment sections is because the characters on that channel are charismatic, relatable, and their content usually feels honest and unforced... bob and cold cuts suck and they own it, and FP is a beast and he constantly proves it.
TBH its not really fair to compare yourselves to bob does sports considering bob himself happens to have one of the most magnetic and loveable personalities in the history of sports broadcasting. Mark my words, Bob will be the undisputed king of youtube golf within the next couple years unless CBS/NBC/ABC offers him a dump truck of money to do commentary for pro golf.
I think Bob would be a hell of a late night talk show host. He makes every guest on the channel feel comfortable
