- Rock Creek Lake (CA) is a beautiful little campground set among the trees and close to Rock Creek Lake. There are 26 campsites. Most are for tents (walk-to), but there are 4 RV sites. The RV sites are very tight, but have space for your RV, trailer and another vehicle. Several of the walk-to sites require hiking about 300+ feet.
Amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. There's also a boat ramp, rentals and day-use area along the lake. Food storage lockers are available at each campsite.

Thank you! And the 'RV' camping is not secluded. The RV campsites are side by side (kind of tight).
How is spot 20? Can’t really tell from the video. I reserved that spot in a few weeks.
I think you'll like campsite #20. It is one of the more secluded campsites set in the trees and off by itself. It's a little on the small side, but the tent pad is about 12x12 feet.

Campsite #4 is closest to the lake, then #3, #2, #20, #21, #5 and #1

I'm camping in a rooftop tent , Do I camp with the other RV or camp at the tent campsite ? Thanks
You can camp in either the RV or tent site parking areas and use your rooftop tent.

How is site 14? Can I park a pop up tent trailer there?
Campsite #14 is nice - large, private and plenty of room for tent camping. A pop up tent trailer may fit in the parking area (depending on the size) but you would not have any room for the towing vehicle. The parking spaces for the tent sites (like #14) are pretty small.

Hi Josh,
Campsites 10-13 (including 12) are RV/trailer only. Tents are not allowed in those sites.

Hi Mike,
Site 9 is a little on the small side, but you have about a 10x10 tent area close to bear box. The parking area is about 50 feet away from the camping area. You can have up to 2 vehicles and 6 people at that site.
@@CampsitePhotos thank you thank you. We booked it last week for end of June as it was the only site left. We love Rock Creek but dragged our feet on booking a site in advance. Im sure its fine for me, wife and 8 year old son. We will be fishing, hiking and horseback riding during the day so not really a big deal having a smaller camp.
@corrado74 how was the campground? Is parking really far from the campground itself?
@@pingpongballz5998 Its our favorite campground. We go every year. Its really an amazing place. Parking is not an issue. You can park right next to your site.
