  • Pulitzer Prize-winning author Daniel Yergin is a highly respected authority on energy, international politics, and economics.
    He holds a BA from Yale University (where he founded The New Journal) and a PhD from Cambridge University. Yergin founded the Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) in 1982, which was acquired by information services provider his (now HIS Markit) in 2004 and then merged with S&P Global in 2022. He is now the Vice Chairman of S&P Global, one of the world’s largest research and information companies.
    Yergin recently published a new book titled “The New Map: Energy, Climate, and the Clash of Nations,” which is one of the key topics of discussion in this Business Talk episode with Michael Avery.
