That's a Boss Frog roll bar and it meets SCCA guidelines, but falls short of the NHRA rules. A full cage is going in the car this winter that will meet the NHRA guidelines.
When I rolled out after the burnout I got a little wheel hop causing everything to shake. So I'm pretty sure it's the exhaust hitting against the rear subframe. I could be wrong though, wish I knew for certain.
I should've bought your turbo setup, but I didn't want to make all my friends cry. Maybe someday I'll run an AbsurdFlow or ARTech setup with a 3076 or something. For now, it's internal wastegate just over 200 whp daily driver for me.
Sounds about right to me. Plus, take into consideration that there could be other factors (spool time for the turbo, tires, humidity, driver, etc...). But honestly +70hp for shaving .3 seconds off a time isn't really that crazy of a statement when considering other things.
just wondering if this car had the 6 speed transmission, and if so if it came stock when i get out of school i want to build one just didnt know which had the 6spd cus from what i hear if you want over 260hp you need it lol
Still my favorite miata drag video..

That was my thought was the exhaust. Well good run man.
500rwhp is the target power goal before spring and I'd like to be able to bring home a 10.5 second time slip before the end of next year.

Yeah, 11.5 is where they require a bit more for safety. I ran an 11.4 @ 123 to end my day on Saturday and another one to end my day on Sunday.
Mid 13s or so depending on the tires and track conditions.

2020?
any idea on what numbers would 260whp on the earlier model miata give me on the 1/4 mile?
how much whp? NICE run
Just over 400 rwhp.
could wikipedia it lol but hey i'm here now
whats the knocking noise after the burn out?
If this car was any quicker you'd run out of gear before you get to the end.
Really? I ran 12.1 @118 with the worst 60ft in the world (1.9) and my Miata only put down 330whp.
