That is a good question. It looks like that triangular plastic trim piece is removed by pushing forward and downward on the front end to slip out of the clips, but I am not going to try it in this cold weather. Afraid something might snap off. I did look on-line and did not see any other videos on how to do this.
Maybe the dealer would tell us.

It is the first point of contact. Lucky it is easy to fix. I have replaced two with no other damage to vehicle. Lol
