Thanks for posting. Sorry to hear about the Streetfigther. Hopefully, nothing serious. Think of the parts falling off of the 1000R not so much as pieces falling off, but rather as a way to find your way back in case you get lost. Yes, you are going around in circles but does the bike know? ;) The 1000RR sounds great.
I’ve got the ‘22 S1000rr and getting ready for track day. Did you just tape off your headlights? If so what did you use? Wondering if you had any issues. Thx
Another great vid! Appreciate you going through the settings / how you have it dialed in! Do you use the same settings for the single R as well? Curious if you have them setup the same or different. Was Mad Maxy out there?
Always get inspired with your riding. Question for you, I'm in group B (intermediate), should I stick with my middleweight bike until I get to advanced (probably end of this year with track schools I'm going to and many track days) before looking at a S1000RR? Or can I consider this bike as an intermediate track rider? I'm an older guy, like sport bikes but I know the S1000RR is more comfortable as sport bikes go. Bike would be 70% track, 30% street...I have a couple street bikes already. TIA!
We'd recommend sticking to what you have and spending the money on riding schools etc. But at the end of the day, do what makes you happy and what works for your budget.
Just watched this vid again and noticed something interesting. Even though at the end of the vid it showed 53° for the left and 59° for the right, when I watched the real time lean angle, your max was 54 and 60. Not sure why the bike didn’t show those numbers as the max?
Which tires are you running on the RR? I'm still on the bike's first set of stock tires (we get Metzeler Racetec K3 here in Australia) but they'll need replacing soon and not sure what to go with next. I need them to be street legal even though I mostly use the bike on track. Was thinking maybe Bridgestone RS11.
thanks for the great video. quick question: no more vibration after the wheels/tires alignment/balancing? Or do you still feel something after higher rpms? Thanks!
Purchased the stage1!!! Have you experienced any issues with brentuning so far? Any concerns regarding voiding the factory warranty? Cheers buddy See ya at chuckwalla 🤙🏽
Quick question is it worth it to take the s1000rr to track day ? I mean the bike is expensive if you drop it it will cast you a lot . Don’t you think is better to find cheaper track bikes which are dedicated for track days . I mean the clutch lever alone costs around 200$ to replace !!!!😂
I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the newer BMWs, had a 15 single R and that thing was built like a tank with quality plastics and buttons, was interested in getting the new one but it just feels cheap in comparison.
GREAT track riding while vlogging mate!
Great fun watching. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to getting my new '21 RR out on track once its warms up here.
Dooo it! 🎉
Looked like a great day. fantastic weather ! Sorry to hear the R is shedding more of its 'nakedness' . Thank you both for another fab vid !
Hahaha it's more naked! 🙌 Thanks for watching 🙏
Nice run buddy. Glad to see what the bike is capable of. It was nice meeting you there. Love my 2022 s1krr as well. Cheers
Ride safe
Great video
Thanks for watching and saying hi!
Cali Moto TV sure thing. I’ll be back there January 14th
Fritos used to be the best. But things have changed. The times they are a changing. Now cali moto is the best.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well... Thank you haha
Thanks Bill, great video mate 🙂
Thank you for watching 🙏
Bill is the kind of man that pushes his superbikes to the breaking point. 🎉
😂😂😂😂 Literally 😂😂😂😂
Bro you are genuine 👍🏼
🎉 🎉 🎉
I thought you said the Bmw couldn't hold the line so what's the differents with this one please let me know thank you
Great video. Also just got the brentune stage 1. Could you share the numbers on the suspension settings? I'm at 445.
We'll have to check later don't know this on the top of our head.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That's hysterical

Painters tape. Nope.
The braking indicator on the dash. Does it show the amount of pressure you put on the brakes, or how much travel of the lever you use?
Not sure, leaning towards pressure.
What's going on with go pro and faulty equipment? ALOT of people are having issues with them recently!
We're wondering the same exact thing.
Perfect camera angle.
Glad you liked it!
What is the setting for the Pro Mode 3 you are running?
Our pro mode settings likely aren't adequate for you. Rider weight / pace / tires / track all plays into it. Please consult a suspension specialist.

Can't use the same settings since the settings options aren't the same between both bikes. Not sure, don't think so.
Brentuning is on sale… do you recommend the stage1? I already have the bmw tuning and a full decat akrapovic,
Sure, anything is better than the BMW tuning lol
Id love to be able to ride my S1000RR like that on track.
Seat time is all it takes.
Awesome! How are you getting wireless audio from your helmet to the GoPro?
We use a zoom external voice recorder and sync the audio in premiere.

Awesome video! What tire pressures are you running? Stock tires?
19/28 cold.
Hey Cali, Are they the Metzeler TD slicks? If so what pressures are you running? They are some impressive lean angles.
No those are Michelin power cup 2s
The torque on that is nuts
Sure is!

We're running the power cup 2s on the RR and V2, R and V4S run the power gp. Both are excellent.
I put the Metezler M9RR's on mine as the K3's were useless in typical Irish wet roads but I am sure that is not such a problem where you live.

All gone.
@@CaliMotoTV Vibrations? I missed it, was it occurring above a specific speed and continues? How did you fix it?
Well done. Smooth riding. What class do u compete in?
We don't race.
Is it faster than the stock 21 rsv4 factory?
Depends on the rider lol
Purchased the stage1!!! Have you experienced any issues with brentuning so far? Any concerns regarding voiding the factory warranty? Cheers buddy
See ya at chuckwalla 🤙🏽
No issues with the tune or concerns with the warranty.

Not much people around? Track looks unusually empty compared to other track day videos.
It's a more exclusive track day, less riders 🎉 and we've been riding in the A group so less traffic.
@@CaliMotoTV To posh for us pleebs are we? LOL :)
@@SteinerSE 🤣🤣🤣😐
What's happened to you SFS??
Stay tuned for an update video.

Definitely a little shocked how flimsy some of the bodywork is.
👍👍👍
I'll race that chick. Get at me!
