the biggest flex of jamie is that he’s stayed within the lower budget cars that some people can afford, and still does content with car enthusiasts in there cars. a genuine passion for cars and hoping he’s making stupid money off it. he deserves it. i mean living in dubai and having luxury sports cars is great, but not the working class will ever get a look in at them! good content jamie 🙌🫶
I think Josh should be working at McLaren… not just for his skills, but his soft tone while describing in depth the repair work required to fix the car would mean you’d be more accepting of the huge bill at the end.

I used to run piano wire as it’s stainless for grooves in block and these worked really well even running high boost and nitrous. Copper is good but on high boost not best. Only issue with piano wire is engine needs carefull warming up and cool down.

Hi Jamie ! really like your Honda build 😀 In to Nissan's RB engines myself around the same displacement as you engine (2.8) and I have tried alot of turbo's thrue the years. That said you dragrace/rollrace the car so really spool won't be That big of a issue as you rev that engine above 9K right ? Precision's Next Gen 7275 is At least what you want to get maybe even Next gen 7680... Pricey as fuc. But realistically it's what you need for your goals. Got Garret's G45-1500 A bit cheaper for about the same flow. Keep the great video's coming 👌
I don't like patchy body colour. Could you paint all the oe panels in black to blend in with those juicy cf bits? Interior and engine bay white is good so you get that spacious, airy feeling and you can actually see stuff. Thank you 😄

I have seen an interesting video of Humble Performance about a compound turbo setup (Small turbo that feeds the big turbo). Maybe an option if there is space for it. Just helping with ideas 😉. I got a mate that owns a carbon fibre company and he is a true petrol head his cars are mental. He would say more carbon less metal so kit, bumper and roof and strip interior especially as it never gonna be a road car. Maybe you should hit him up and see his cars also
Probably worth fitting plexiglass to it too if fitting carbon doors and bootlid, be able to get away with one boot strut too no doubt (if you wanted to keep them lol)
Take my advice don't use no nitrous, the reason why they will be more damages going towards the valves and the pistons. I recommend you save your K-Series engine. I would go for water methanol kit and intercooler kit
You just need to get some back arches, front bumper and roof in carbon fibre and the whole car will be as light as a 🪶 and as fast as it can possibly be....until the nxt stage 😂
Gutted for the teg being out of action, you'll get there & this car will be superb, but in the meantime, the shi7box lives on fault free & is epic content.... for now 👊🏽😂

Brother please keep me posted regarding the head gasket solution for the head lifting. I am currently building my Type R FN2 for around 1000hp and I want to make sure that I don't lift that head. I will also be using Syvecs
In the rb world they run a electric pump and seal of water transfer between the bottom/top. You could have the engine machined and have copper rings instead. This is something they do on 1800+ hp gtrs
Absolute madness you've put that much time money and effort into getting it over 1000bhp and struggling for times and you've not invested into a proper drag suspension set up. That can be tuned off of data logs. Increase/decrease front and rear lift and compression. The US Drag guys gain time on same power just by adjusting suspension after each run. That way you can adjust it for Prep. No prep etc.

I have been running the Gear-X Viscous Coupler for a few years now with no issues. AKD I think has a Billet option too.

I have a k24a3 turbo awd honda hrv, running a viscous, because standard dual pump diff was,nt happy, so locked it up

Good idea to move the fuel ones away from that turbo you don’t want any fires and can’t wait for the next build
While there is no engine and gearbox in it you should build a titanium sub frame , that will get rid of some weight.
Put a fire wall in between the passenger compartment and the trunk fuel system.

Why add weight? To improve traction? May as well reign in the horsepower instead.
