I think youre one of the few content creator that talks abt mental health and struggles, and youre definitly the only one talking about finding peace after it. Thanks Leah, you help a lot of people, youre great❤️
I think you would be surprised by how many more are sharing their feelings (: Thank you for your lovely comment though 🤎 May I suggest these channels for you (I found peace in their videos): Valerie Lin, Hitomi Mochizuki, Leah's Fieldnotes, and Linda Sun 🌱 All lovely humans being vulnerable and sharing their journeys through life 😇
I love this kind of a video. It feels very comforting and friendly. It is so relatable and down to earth, makes you feel not alone and just understood. I can understand that it may be vulnerable to share it publicly online, but just remember we all kinda live the same life.
It just feels like leah spoke each and every thought going on my mind and it feels so good knowing that I'm not alone in this it was so comforting to watch Leah thanks for making my day!!..
I love how you show us ordinary day to day life videos where life is not always exciting and instead slow and repetitive. Your videos are not fake and you don’t bring a facade to your videos. I love your videos and want to thank you for doing what makes you happy because it is also making all your viewers happy :)
I think boring / mundane parts of life can be the most powerful when we romanticise them! I find a lot of joy in my little routines and habits, and even more joy in finding ways to capture them (to kinda transmit the way I feel into the video 💭). It is perfectly normal to have a repetitive life at times, and it can be quite comforting to be stuck in our ways... Though I'm trying to add a few new things to my routine here and there 😇
I totally feel you about these "happiness barriers", however, those things are not excuses! The word "excuse" does not belong in a mental health discussion, because things that hold you back and are hard to overcome are real barriers and you are allowed to feel held back by them. The key is always to find solutions to overcome those barriers in the long term. and not to "get over yourself". Don't be so hard on yourself! I know it's frustrating when you so clearly know that it's "all in your head" but this is literally what mental health problems are and why they are so hard to overcome.
This is soo normal Leah. 💫💕 In our life, we will go trought so many different time schedules. I found myself struggling with that too. And I know that telling you that time management is a fortune in situation like that, won’t change your current luck of purpose (cause it’s a difficult stage too), but I will tell you anyway:” just try to enjoy this calm moment, things can always change if we want to. But now, stay present and build a calm routine sustainable for you.” With time… you will think back to these days. It’s what happened to me. (I told you about my former work). Now thank God, I’m following another path. Alway support you. ❤ We are all doing our best, Leah. Remember that when you strugge with the old version of you. Always doing our best and if it’s not our best, it’s enough anyway. Promise me. I see myself so much in you. Happy that I’m not alone here eheh ⭐️💫💕
How miss your longer vlogs 🥰 Leah you bring such comfort to me every time I watch your videos. You speak so eloquently about your mental health and life in general that it makes me hopeful. Thank you for this❤
Hello Leah! so, i just want to say thank you. thank you for being present in this channel, for making the content you make, thank you for this video. This is meditation to me. Truly. When i'm able to start my dar by watching your videos is a gift. It always brings me peace, so so needed. So thank you girl, your videos are amazing.
Ahh Julia, thank you so much for your lovely words and for taking the time to write them (: it means so much to me, sincerely. I know external validation should be my least motivating factor to make videos, but it certainly does give me purpose and encourage me ... so thank you again for being here
this video is so comforting!! i identified myself a lot with the beginning, and as i was watching the video, i started to gain courage to journaling and to try to take care more of myself, im gonna try to meditate more too, and to create healthy habits for me, but i know it’s not easier, but, everything will work out, baby steps. amazing video!
Thich Nhat Hanh is my favourite author, we studied him in my ALevels. He runs a poscast from his home in Plum Village! I would highly recommend the No Mud, No Lotus audiobook, its incredible
@@leahmegan I can always listen to you. The shots were great with the new camera. and you are doing very well in your fight for yourself. I will always take you as an example.💜
What you describe in the beginning of your video: I personally prefer to have my lifetime structured with obligations. I leave the house at 7am in the morning and come back at 9pm in the evening. I have two jobs and exercise daily. That's 80% of my life and I'm absolutely happy about it. I have meaningful activities and enough brakes. Once there is more time for me to spend as I will, my motivation drops and I feel kinda debased. I think it is normal.
hi Leah! It’s good to see u again, I hope you don’t feel bad for expressing your emotions. Emotions themselves are powerful whether they’re negative or not. You shouldn’t have to apologize. This channel can be an outlet for you to express how you feel, even in good times or bad. If people don’t understand that then it’s not your fault! I’m so happy to see what is next to come for you, only more growth, happiness and warmth in life is possible, truly the good days are here, and even in times when you feel sad or down know that those times are a natural part of being HUMAN. We shouldn’t feel shame in sadness, only understanding that this is what i feel and that’s okay. In my 21 years of life I realized I’m sad, but not a sad person. Only a person. A book suggestion: Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, I love this book sm, it’s so wonderfully profound and transformative. If not that then, The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (Classic) or Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa (made me cry heheh but so good and beautiful)
Ah, thank you for your wonderful comment 🤎 I appreciate it dearly. I agree, I am welcoming all the good (and maybe bad) things that life will bring, but feeling very positive at the moment & putting trust into the process 🌱 I often find myself exiting periods of sadness with new thoughts and perspectives on the world, and so what used to only seem painful now has much more value to me. Thank you for your suggestions, I did order Siddhartha already! It's just taking a little longer to arrive than the others. I loved The Metamorphosis by Kafka, and so will be sure to order the Traveling Cat Chronicles 😇
Hi Leah🌸 Its such a calming video! I normaly dont like videos in that long but this one (yours) made feel like Im talking w my friend🤍 Hope this comment help to know about your youtube friends:) So much love from here💐
Hi Leah! I’ve been watching ur videos silently for months…and I can feel ur struggles and emotions because that’s the same with mine… But recently I read The Conquest of Happiness, and it really helps me reorganize my life and emotions. Don’t know if you have read it or not before, but if you don’t, I hope you can read it and feel better with the help of it…❤❤
The great heck for parfume stay a long time still smelling super fresh is to put bit of vaseline behind your ear and then put parfume there 🌸 and amazing video as always 🫶
ahh that does sound like a good idea!! I was putting the solid version of the perfume (it is a kind of balm with essential oils) and then layering the fragrance on top of that 😇 not sure if it makes a difference though !!
Ah yay!! I’m hoping to upload it next week or the week after, depends how long the editing takes 😊 With tofu, I usually marinate it in a 1:1 mix of sesame oil and soy sauce + lots of minced garlic, then fry it 🍳
Leia, it’s good that you read a lot and think a lot. Have you already read the Tao Te Ching? You can learn from Dickens, from a street cat, from a neighbor's child, from a homeless person or from a rich man. It is interesting that believers, esotericists, philosophers, psychologists talk about one thing that underlies everything - love. All Christian commandments, for example, come down to two - love of God and love of neighbor. Our life is a constant development. But in working on yourself you need to use will, patience, work, discipline. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. This helps others find themselves in them and make sure that they are not alone in their doubts, searches and conclusions. Have you noticed that when we travel, we find other people, landscapes, culture, stories, and through all this we understand ourselves? Sometimes our life becomes gray. Like a window that gets dirty over time and the sun is no longer visible. Then we need to wash it, and the bright colors will illuminate our lives again. Perhaps the movie 3 Idiots (India, 2009) will make you smile and brighten up your day. Leia, as always, God bless you and all the best!
love your video leah ❤️ Happy ur feeling better it really made me feel better too as I’ve gone through similar experiences of finding who I really am, still going! but we will be fine ❤️ I recommend this book, Kitchen by banana yoshimoto xx

I bought my first self help book the other day, I normally only read fantasy or romance, and I’m really excited to read it! It’s reasons to stay alive by Matt Haig
I have heard of that one! I hope you enjoy it 🤎 I read a loooot of fiction when I was younger (think Harry Potter and The Hunger Games), but recently found the whole self-help genre to be really inspiring. I prefer non-fiction during the day, where I'm generally more focused and can make notes on what I learn, and fiction before bed (sends me to sleep after like 5 pages hehe) 🤎🤎
The video quality has grown so much!!!

it was some light brown sugar! if I'm sweetening the matcha, I add that / honey and whisk again (it dissolves better in hot liquid 🤎)
