You hit the nail on the head with the last question. I too just enjoy shooting and feel it can often enhance experiences. Sometimes it will push me to do things I might not otherwise or take a closer, prolonged look at my surroundings. And as far as memories go, pictures are great but video puts me right back to when/where I shot and that is worth it's weight in gold.
Always enjoy your skiing content, the joy you talk about in the last segment is obvious when you hit jumps while talking and let out the excited noise each time. Thanks
haha those early vids bring back memories. i remember when i was like 12 or something DMing you to ask you if twin tips were a good investment for skiing park after watching your USC vids, back when you could actual DM on youtube. awesome to see all the change with you/gopro over the years
He is like “I hope the wind noise isn’t too bad.” He is skiing and still clear as day! I make one quick move and I have to throw out all my audio! Haha
A question for Abe! Why most of your videos are in 30fps? Is that cos u can use 1/60 shutter and get a desired motion blur as much as u can? Because if you combine a MAX footage with gopro 10 you could easily interpolate frames and get nice looking 60fps footage ..
Hey Abe! thanks for answering all the questions! I noticed your Hero 10 has folding fingers on the side to put it into portrait mode. Is this something custom?
It is! I made it though. Grabbed spare feet on the website and an H9 door (since it’s metal) and used JB weld metal epoxy. Works great and can swap to different cameras 👌🏻

Waiting for the new product launches coming out this year. Are y’all going to release one a quarter? I need to get a 360 camera.
Cool Insights 🙏🏻 especially the Story how you connected with GoPro 🎉
the Gopro in this vid looks like it has a second set of mounting feet on the side of it. is that and actual product or a jimmy rig situation?
I expoxied replacement fingers to the battery door! perfect solution :)
Is that a new sideways mount on the battery door for vertical mounting?
looks like your camera have a side mountet folding fingers is this a prototype or a ting you made ?

17:45 A skeptic spotted 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice Q&A. Thanks for answering one of my questions. Sometimes I feel like I either carry too many GoPro set ups and other times not enough.

Nice Q&A! I started the same, now I'm waiting to Gopro to contact me 🤪🤪🤪

Superb
I really thought you were going with Aspen Extreme as your favorite ski movie.
How is your audio so good? Voice sounds so clear and barely any wind noise.
He is like “I hope the wind noise isn’t too bad.” He is skiing and still clear as day! I make one quick move and I have to throw out all my audio! Haha
All of the skiing audio was shot with a lav mic inside of my jacket! The stuff on the chairlift was straight from the gopro
holy shit I remember that segment, with the bow n'arrow grab. the music fit so perfectly as well. very dreamy
Hi Abe, can you tell us about the specs of your twin tips? Are they Park Rockers? Thanks! Great video again;)
The ones in this video are my park skis - they are armada AR8, pretty standard park skis!
@@abekislevitz Thanks!
what gopro mount do you have on your battery door? it's just the thing to make vertical video. where can I buy it?
Make paint, Abeysannnnn!!!
Zadia … 👀
Yeah Abe, make paint I bet it will be the thrill of a lifetime!
Which Oakley goggles are those and which lense?
Oakley Fall Line M & Prizm black iridium !
Abe, can I have a question? In combination with MaxLens mod - superview or wide and why?
Superview! Always go wider when shooting POV!
Really enjoyed the answers. Super inspiring.
My favorite part of this video is the “Metaphor Skeptic Spotted” 😂😂😂
Great Q&A video 😍 Thanks for taking us on this awesome ride!

I’ve never been a fan of 60fps personally, so I shoot and edit in 30. It has nothing to do with shutter speed.
@@abekislevitz Thank you for your answer :D!
What is that replacement door with the GoPro fingers that you have on?? That looks so much nicer for capturing portrait oreiented content
Homemade !
I was hoping it was going to be a live stream Q&A. 😞
Insane skiing! Great video!
@11:10 is the GoPro battery door with the folding fingers attached(for vertical video) a diy item or can I get one?
DIY 👍🏻
@@abekislevitz genius idea!
pertinent question: is it true you took your own senior pictures in high school
Hahah, technically no, someone else was behind the camera. But I did add bokeh in photoshop and printed them at Costco photo center…
lmao
👍🏻
Hey Abe! thanks for answering all the questions! I noticed your Hero 10 has folding fingers on the side to put it into portrait mode. Is this something custom?
Yah! Just put some spare fingers on the battery door with epoxy :)
It feels like a new accessory in beta testing 😝
Is that a side door with foldable feet on it that I spot?

@@abekislevitz thanks for sharing, definitely making one of these as one GoPro is always in media mod so have the door spare 👌
Thank you for responding to my question! You are such an inspiration to all of us!
right on! thanks for submitting it!
