Epsom salt provides needed calcium during their growing season. I'm in the Upper Midwest where it has been unbearably hot and humid the past month and my tomatoes are loving it. The finer you chop garlic the more garlic flavor you get. The garlic taste comes out when the cell walls are broken so smashing it will give you maximum garlic flavor.

Have you ever tried lentil soup with lots of paprika, both hot and sweet? It tastes like traditional lentil Spanish stew, which always contains chorizo, morcilla, etc. We also put some potato, green peppers, some carrots and one bay leaf.
A. Blaise: Pixi products include Fragrance/Parfum in their ingredients list, plus other fragrance ingredients, essential oils, and dyes. And it is overpriced. This is a brand I would never consider using on my skin based on the knowledge I’ve gained from Dr Dray.
The Pixi Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse is great especially as it's fragrance-free, but pretty much everything else is full of fragrance and other irritating ingredients I'm afraid.
Great to see that you are into being as zero-waste as possible. I make my own mustard - it's super easy! You just soak mustard seeds overnight and grind them up! Yum!

I love lentils & i love soup. As its winter here in Oz , soups feature heavily in my cooking.Just made a cream of broccoli& rocket soup & threw in some canellini beans.When pureed in the soup, it helps to thicken it as well.I try & incorporate beans anywhere i can- high in fibre too, thats an added bonus:) Enjoy ur w/e.

Have you ever had Blepharitis? I have been having a lot of eye strain lately and after visits and tests the ophthalmologist diagnosed me and did this treatment which was essentially an exfoliation of the waterlines or lids of my eyes. I was wondering since it sounds like the oil glands or passages there get clogged then do you think it’s possible that products and all this sunscreen application and reapplication plays a role? Any ideas or advice?

I love throwing a handful of spinach in my smoothies. Like the zucchini, you can't taste it, but it's great for you! FYI, you can recycle plastic bags at Lowes! The recycle bin is usually right inside the entrance! Tybee is so cute and fluffed out! Hugs, y'all!

OneBeautyAddict she has always said fragrances are the culprits most likely to cause a reaction in the skin, and even if you haven’t had a problem before it can pop up and say hello.
If that ingredient was pullulan, it is added to cause the skin to "tighten" temporarily to improve the appearance of wrinkles. I tried a product with it and saw no real change, but it does make your skin feel dry, which may be the so-called tightening effect. You can get it in products for much less than la mer prices. Saw your three berry blend. I just bought it to try yesterday. 😊
You might want to try Texas wild tomatoes. They are a small cherry tomato. They will grow in the Texas heat. The only drawback is you will need to grow them from seeds. Good luck. Thanks

Lorilee New Yeah, I can relate to that 😎 The better word would be ‚plant-based-, btw., veganism implies ‚going all the way‘ and avoiding anything animal derived or tested on animals or whatever in all aspects of your life. You also couldn’t wear leather shoes as a vegan, for example. Or use a cream that has lanolin in it. Although even the most dedicated vegan has to draw the line somewhere, I guess. I mean, fruit trees are pollinated by bees. Veggies are grown using pesticides. Harvesting grains kills lots of small animals hiding in the fields and so on. It’s just not possible to live without ‚using‘/killing animals really. But of course just using less animal products and especially less beef will reduce your environmental footprint considerably, so it’s certainly worthwhile to be mindful about it 👍

Ironically, your tomato plant needs full sun all day to thrive. Mulching on top of the soil might help with water loss due to the heat. Thanks for all your great advice.
HausOfFine: MALIN+GOETZ lip balm contains bisabolol, which is the main component in an essential oil, German Chamomile. It has a floral aroma and is often used in fragrance. This is a deal breaker for me, et al.

Put a paper towel in the bag of spinach, I think it staves off the sogginess for a bit. :)

Here in the U.K. on Thursday was the second hottest day on record or since records began it was 38.1 degrees only 0.5 from beating the all time record of 38.5 it really felt like another hot country all together like Middle Eastern weather. Apparently a big cloud over much of the U.K. kept the record from being broken, much of Europe broke all time records this week... I like your mums new shoes my mum also got a new pair of Sketches only last week, they are so light and comfortable with really good comfy heels. Enjoy the rest of your day 😘😎🐶

The better word would be ‚plant-based-, btw., veganism implies ‚going all the way‘ and avoiding anything animal derived or tested on animals or whatever in all aspects of your life. You also couldn’t wear leather shoes as a vegan, for example. Or use a cream that has lanolin in it.
Although even the most dedicated vegan has to draw the line somewhere, I guess. I mean, fruit trees are pollinated by bees. Veggies are grown using pesticides. Harvesting grains kills lots of small animals hiding in the fields and so on. It’s just not possible to live without ‚using‘/killing animals really.
But of course just using less animal products and especially less beef will reduce your environmental footprint considerably, so it’s certainly worthwhile to be mindful about it 👍

Oh no it's nothing like that, they love her to bits and know to be careful but dogs can't cope as well as it's humans can they, although I've found it pretty difficult to this week too 😅. Thanks for your concern over our furry friends.

You can use shredded zucchini in zucchini carrot bread. Zucchini keeps the bread very soft :)
Ironically, your tomato plant needs full sun all day to thrive. Mulching on top of the soil might help with water loss due to the heat. Thanks for all your great advice.
