Love the video Eric, great to see the post-match analysis of your main decisions and getting our views on them, looking forward to the next one 👍 the foul in the middle of the pitch by the Fintan player was very close to a yellow card and probably should have been as he stopped the flow of the game and was never going to win the ball, not sure what the time was on the clock but it's a yellow for me, also dishing out a card can show your authority towards the more aggressive team and bringing them down to a level that balances out the game.
@@andrewpigram2942 Cheers Andy. I think you’re probably right. The more I watch it the more I think it should have been a yellow. Appreciate the feedback! Anything else you’d want to see in the videos?
@@Behind.TheWhistle At some point it would be good to invite a higher level referee on one of your videos and get him watch the decisions you make during a match and get his feedback on what decision he would have made 👍
Great stuff Eric. Push into the fence probably a yellow but if you didn't see it you can't give it. (Love the talk about it with their gaffa and how he conducted himself) Trip on the halfway line is a debatable one for me, could just be a foul . The one through the back of the player I'd agree was a yellow. The second yellow could be deemed harsh . As you say they were 4-1 up so you could argue why would he delay when the game is almost up? But then if you are absolutely certain he was delaying as you said, it is now the letter of the law and the players know that so fair enough. Not all referees book for this at grassroots/non league, but if they decide to I like to see consistency. This was a very good video to watch and I hope you are able to continue doing it . Was good to see you explain your decisions and even admit you got one wrong although you didn't see it. Refreshing and I hope you don't get people, players , managers etc see this as an opportunity to abuse if they don't agree with something. Good luck! 👍😃
@@craignewton1874 I really appreciate all of that mate. Love what your channel is doing for local non-league football. Looking forward to making more and I hope you enjoy them 👍🏼
Great video to watch, totally agree with what you said on decisions you gave or did not give during match and ready to watch next episode. This is good for everyone to watch at grassroot football level.
Thanks for tuning into the first vlog! Very much a work in progress, let me know what you’d like to see in future videos :)
The structure of this video is so good! Love how you take us on the journey to your game,(prep etc) and then dissect the game afterwards.
@@TimOLeary-x6o thanks mate, more to come! What would you change?
Structure of the video is class mate well done, you’ll go far!

1st one is definitely a yellow, pure tripped him
I think a lot of people would agree. From my angle it looks like he’s trying to win the ball, from the camera angle looks a lot more like a trip!
