- Built by the J.P. Morgan family, Lenox's Ventfort Hall is a Gilded Age mansion with ties to the legendary Massachusetts 54th regiment from the Civil War and was host to the people who shaped and molded this country at the turn of the century -- the Vanderbilts and the Rockerfellers of the era. And if you're a movie fan, it was even featured as the titular setting for the Hollywood blockbuster The Cider House Rules. As Legend Hunter extraordinaire Jeff Belanger shows us, in addition to its amazing history it's also said to be a location for restless spirits.
Went on tour so cool
Great story, indeed. I've read that many Gilded Age 'cottages' have been torn down. It's nice to hear about one that survived.
Very cool stuff I love this stuff.
Great story Jeff Belanger! He doesn't talk down to the audience which is wonderfully refreshing, He also puts a lot of information into a small amount time. I thoroughly enjoyed this price by Jeff Belanger! Thank you!
I worked in this Lenox cottage in the Student Union when attending Stevens School of the Bible; it also housed a dormitory. Scores of events were held there & guest speakers of renown. We experienced the presence of God there, but never a report of anything ghostly...
Hello Jeff belanger
Awesomely great Jeff love ur stuff
I have been here for a ghost hunt and I can confirm that it's haunted by at least 9 or more ghosts. 🤫😨
Wtf i used to live in kingsbay ga and partied with Trevor styles dean all the time. This is like 15 years ago I haven't talked to the kids since i live in PA now and random seen him out of all rhe billions of people in the world. Fuck🤯
A technomas fireplace back there ...which they turned into a wood burning /coal fire places ...the building is a lot more older than they are telling us it is ....it was occupied by the people they are saying that built it after 1800 reset, around the world....it looks much older than than a century ,at least, two or three centuries plus, i would have said...
Hi Jeff
I enjoyed the content very much but the subtitles need some serious retooling.
William Chartrand I know imagine trying to look in amir (Mirror).lol 👍🏻
Christina George lisa Ellison n Becky O’Dell
There is a ghost on the window, exactly when you started expleinig
Not an attractive building actually. I've seen other much larger cabins all over New England for wealthy families and most were perhaps better looking then this.
