Thanks my friend, much appreciate the feedback.. I've had hardware laying around, force, mpc live, sp404mk2 as I wanted dawless. Seems a great setup right with an MX1 mixer.. Recently invested in Bitwig as I miss having fun just making music. By which I mean I start on the afore mentioned devices, and just hit sticking blocks, not knowing what to do to get the result in my head. So I thought maybe back to a daw to navigate may be better. Still haven't done much on that either. I feel like all the gear with no ideas atm. Sincerely thanks, the whole guilt complex thing is real for sure. Respect and appreciate ya 🙏
maybe just keep your setup small? I frequently pack up things and put them in a closet so it's out of my mind space, but still available if I want to reach for it. Having less gear (or software) to work with can force you to learn it better and get you better results.
@@Complexautist Do you have any hardware instruments? If not, pick up a Roland S-1 or Arturia Microfreak (or whatever floats your boat!) I had a similar setup and didn't get going until I bought something to actually play.
@bobbyrutz9402 sound is that Bobby, I've had a few hardware devices, racked up with a drum brute, crave, microfreak (white vocoder) and a skulpt a little while back, traded 3 for an mpc live lol, give skuplt to a friend who was getting into synths. I've thought about getting some more in, even the older roland devices as I have an mx1 too, do the boutique devices work with an mx1 I wonder? Worth a go!
Thanks for this video. I’m dropping this SP404 in the mail today! ✌🏾
Salute and god speed! :D
I have that same toad in red 😂. He's at least 25 years old.
my wife got me that one in Brazil... probably twenty or so years ago now :D

@NearTao it recalls the old saying, limitations breed creativity. Dare say you're quite right. 👍
