    I recommend watching this video. The explanation of the topics are clear and concise. Having different types of product and how they react to thinners made this video very useful to me. Also there is no annoying music going on while he's talking.

    Hi Will. I’ve never tried using oil washes before so this video has answered a lot of questions I had so I’m going to go and give it a go now. Many thanks for your great advice mate.

    You are taking this hobby to another level. Love the stitching effect on the helmet, WOW. My holdup is slow drying time...I don't have the patience to wait a week. How fast does the W/N fast dry stuff take?? and what about the Aqualung paints (Abteilung)? Do your videos, say what you have to say and time be dammned!!!

      washes don't take that long...overnight easily, especially if you put it by a heat source. i force dry pure oils overnight with a space heater blowing on them.

    Hey Will, my 2 dollars question is, can you prepare washes in larger quantity and keep them in bottles so that when you need them you don't have to prepare some every time ?

    Man, do you have a more in-depth guide on some of the earlier build-up you achieved on that chassis? I have a robot that I would love to replicate that finish on.

    Very useful info, what was the chassis/frame for please? I am slowly doing a Vietnam guntruck diorama, and would like to prepare the chassis then weather it accordingly. Thanks in advance.

    Will, can you please do a video on using transparent white. I still can't get the right effect. Looking to make a sun bleached effect on aircraft.

    • @barpfoto
      @barpfoto  6 років тому

      consider titanium white. tw has a bluish cast that doesn't always work well.

    Can I just double check with you that these oils and thinners are safe on top of model air acrylics and tamiya gloss/flat coats? The W&N oils you're using are exactly the ones I'm looking to purchase :)

    Could you use Lacquer Thinner in place of Mineral Spirits for thinning these?

    • @barpfoto
