I chose C couldn’t bare to see my fave characters die
Genuinely breaks my heart that, in Option A, Trevor doesn’t retaliate and he ends up being betrayed by, not one, but two people he thought of as friends. Yet in Option B, Michael tries to save himself by telling Franklin they could turn on Trevor. Trevor is the most loyal.
Trevor doesn't like fakes or snakes
@Felix And Michael if Micheal is a snake, he's an anaconda.
If you hung out with trevor as franklin after option c he tells you that the reason he didn't kill micheal is because he likes watching him suffer by being alive
Exactly. If it were only A or B I'd choose B every time.
Yeah michael is the worst
I chose C for the first time. It made me sad because I thought Franklin was gonna die but at least he wasn’t betraying his friends. But the ending really put a tear on my face.
I was too young and dumb to even understand what death wish was and the death part scared me away, I chose Trevor I think, idk why I would choose Michael so that’s my guess, but man, the fact those two options exist is the reason I don’t sleep at night
I had your logic and that’s why I chose Trevor instead because I thought in c frank would die saving Trevor and Michael ffs😂

I get the joke people make about this, and I laugh about it. But I’ve noticed some people take it way too seriously.
If you think about it, with the other missions, if an important character dies the mission is failed and you restart.
If you went on a whole rampage and got wasted or busted in free-roam, there is nothing about it on the news or anything. Los Santos is the exact same, an endless loop.
Basically, there is a huge difference between the story and free-roam. What happens in the story is actually canon. Being wasted or busted in free-roam or failing a mission is non-canon and nothing special. If a character dies as part of the storyline, like what Michael does here, they actually DO die and will never appear again.
Like I said, I know the joke, it’s funny. But I just wanted to point out the real logic in case of something...
A underrated part about ending C is that Franklin and Lamar was reunited fighting side by side again just like in the beginning of the game
Lamar and Franklin reconnect in ending C, and they also wipe out anyone who has wronged them to that point aside from Strangers and Freaks and Medrazo. Chang, Haines, Devin, Stretch, it was an epic ending.
Ending A: you feel like you did the right thing, but you feel guilty

Ending A: You kill someone who had nothing left to lose.
Ending B: You kill someone whose luck was finally starting to turn around.
Ending C: You kill a man who, to put it bluntly, will not be missed.
Something about Trevor's death feels so cruel despite him being a homicidal cannibal. The tortured, mentally sick man who was abandoned and betrayed by everyone he loves finally forms a friendship with a man who he thought he could trust, only to be betrayed by him as well. Loyalty is everything to a man like Trevor and he's killed by 2 men he thought were loyal to him.
It's Due in no small part to the exceptional voice acting of Steven Ogg. The slurred crying out from 2:32 onward is utterly brilliant
To be fair he was only abandoned by the people he loved because he's a hypocritical psychopath who is incapable of feeling actual love(a socio/psychopath may think they love someone, but as opposed to a normal person loving their spouse/kids its more like how a gamer would love their PC). They just see them as an extremely valuable asset they can't function without.
And he for sure wasn't betrayed. He deserved everything bad that ever happened to him. One of the big things people miss is that you can't trust Trevor to be a reliable narrator especially when it comes to his own story. He will always be either the victim or the hero no matter what. Trevor could shoot a random pregnant woman in cold-blood and blame her husband for attacking him in retaliation.
People who sympathize with Trevor are the same sociopaths who think Rick Sanchez/Frank Underwood/Patrick Bateman are the heroes.
is he really a cannibal tho??? i thought they were just messing with him

Positive’s and negative’s of all endings:
Ending A: Kill Trevor
+You got rid of a sociopath
+Michael and Franklin get more money
-Trevor is dead
-Franklin betrays Trevor
-Michael betrays Trevor AGAIN
-Trevor’s death is quite brutal
-Ron mourns his friend
-Franklin is just like Michael, he uses Trevor’s loyalty and his one last use was to kill him so they can live free
Ending B: Kill Michael
+Poetic justice is delivered
+Franklin got rid of someone who might have killed him to save his own skin
+Michael’s hypocrisy is exposed
-Michael’s family mourns
-Michael is dead
-Michael’s kids have to live through adulthood without a father
Ending C: Death Wish
+All protagonists live
+Wei Cheng is dead
+Stretch is dead
+Steve Haines is dead
+ Devin is dead, and no one even knows
+The protagonists get to live their lives peacefully
+Franklin takes a page out of Trevor’s book and stays loyal to his friends
+Michael gets a do over, a chance to say goodbye to his friends with a handshake, not a backstab
-Trevor has to go back to Devin’s to get his car back
Bro really wrote all that to get 0 likes...
If there was a “Suicide” option:
+ Michael and Trevor get more money
- Lamar mourns Franklin
- Michael mourns Franklin
- South Los Santos will fall into chaos
- Michael loses his son figure and friend
- Devin Weston will send men to exterminate Michael and Trevor without Franklin’s protection
I also noticed that Michael becomes very despicable in both the first two endings:
- he actually goes forth with killing Trevor and puts the blame on Franklin, even cutting ties afterwards. He also tells his son that Trevor would have killed his family, even though it was painfully obvious that Trevor still sees Michael’s grown up children as his nephew and niece.
- when being pursued by Franklin, he uses Trevor as a scapegoat to save his skin.
Trevor neither assists Franklin with his own dirty deeds or tarnishes Michael’s name. When you think about it, Trevor is the most loyal character despite being a homicidal murderer.
The first two endings just feel uncharacteristic for Franklin to do.
He was out of his character if u choose A and B cuz he was a sort of guy that wont let his homies down no matter how hard it is.
thats why C seems like the original ending.
it is revealed 2 months ago that Ending C is a Canon ending in Gta Online.. which is tao cheng mention that he nearly killed in the beach club by franklin's ambush in the third way mission.

I couldn't kill these dudes. After watching this, it doesn't even make sense and is totally uncharacteristic of Franklin.
Franklin was out of his character. in those 2 endings cuz he is sort of guy that wont clip his homies for some kind of money or drugs.
@Jacob Underwood Even though he's a psychopath he doesnt deserve to die like this.
@Jacob Underwood Trevor is a psycho etc., but he is also very likeable and clearly has some childhood trauma
@Jacob Underwood i don't think he's deserve that kind of death. i mean, he was abused by his parents and that's what makes him psychopath. as for michael, he just want to protect his family. i think i would do the same thing if i were him
I went wit plain C and i wanted to kill the dude who made Franklin decide but we eventually did during the ending
honestly, i've never been able to bring myself to choose anything other than option C. All of the time that you spend with both Michael and Trevor throughout the events of the game creates some sort of fictional bond; like you've known them since birth. Seeing the pain that Trevor is in when he gets hit into the oil tanker brings an overwhelming sense of sympathy toward him. Trevor was a psychotic cannibal who was abandoned by everyone he knew and loved. He finally found a group of people who cared about him just to be taken out by the same people just a few months later. When Michael gets a call from Amanda telling him that Tracey got into college, followed by him telling Franklin how lucky he is, really rubs it into the player and makes them aware of what they're about to do. This is amplified heavily by Ned Luke's incredibly genuine voice acting and the attention to detail captured by the motion capturing suits. You can visibly see the despair and betrayal resounding off of Michael's face after the fist fight. Franklin is clearly regretful and hesitant in killing Michael, as he catches his hand before Michael manages to fall. Franklin truly wants to help Michael, seen as you have the option to save him. Rockstar really has the ability to make killing a cannibalistic maniac and a ruthless criminal the hardest decision ever.
Me too. Just seeing ending A and B is horrible. We've spend so much time getting to know these characters and then we just kill them. Ending C is the only way to go. Its perfect. It might not be realistic but who the hell cares? Its a game and I want the best possible ending.
It would be cool if ending A and B had alternatives, like if you had second thoughts you could choose not to kill them and it would just bring you back to Ending C, both Micheal and Trevor both talk about how they trust him and I'm sure if Franklin said he's not gonna go through with it they could go back to planning on taking everyone else out.
Both endings have alternatives where you don’t wanna kill them anymore but they still die. Michael shoots the gasoline to kill Trevor and Michael headbutting Franklin when Franklin tries to save him, causing Michael to fall to his death. But it would be cool if you can save them both in ending A or B and switching to option c
Idk I feel like in that scenario, which would be awesome, and I wish rockstar did that, and there would be five endings, but I think there would be some fall out from Franklin attempting to kill them in the first place
Nah it would defeat the whole point of “choosing” an ending and dealing with the consequences
I think if u call Lester at any point during A and B, it takes u to C but I’m not sure
I think it'd be cooler if A and B had alternates where Franklin dies and the others react accordingly.
If Franklin spares Trevor, he ends up killing them. If Franklin spares Micheal, he either throws him off or threatens him to stay away from his family and says to have fun with the FIB and Merryweather.

Rexinexus Probably because people thought it means "kill Franklin". There is no real reason to choose anything other than C really, there were too many real antagonists, especially Devin
NovaStone Yeah I killed Trevor the first time because I thought it meant that Franklin would die or the three of them would die. That and I never liked Trevor but when he was in the ground with all the gas over him it took me like 5 minutes to actually pull that trigger and still I felt really bad.
Rexinexus Honestly? The player would choose to kill Trevor or Michael if they had already decided they hated either of them.
I chose option C because I didn't want to kill Michael or Trevor, and actually didn't feel attached to Franklin because he was too bland and "straight." Especially in contrast to Trevor, who is the true spirit of the GTA franchise.
Ending C is the best, and it changed my mind about Franklin. It completes his character arc. It shows he's willing to stick his neck out to save his friends rather than pursue an empty, materialistic personal gain.
Ending A is too painful. Trevor has a heart, nobody was there for him. He has a tragic backstory. Everyone who kills him, should end up like Dimitri Rascalov

How should you treat a unstable psychopath like him? The guy is literally an animal.
C ending was the best, but between Michael and Trevor I would 100% choose Trevor.
@@Joao-ur7ey Michael has everything and he still asks for more how could you like him
Both A and B are the equally as sad imo
Basically: *Don't pick A or B.*
Killing trevor isnt really a bad choice. Cmon even if he was loyal hes still a terrible human being even compared to Michael. And daddy issues doesnt justify hes actions
Threat it doesn’t matter Trevor Michael and Franklin make gta the way it is now plus when you call Trevor after you pick the option to kill Michael he immediately stops talking to Franklin he still cared about Michael deep down even if he was mad
@@flylikeabullet what doesnt matter??? I dont understand whats the point of your answer
Threat all the things Trevor did just like you said he’s a terrible human being that’s literally what everyone is on gta
@@flylikeabullet trevor is on another level of terrible. Plus Michael atleast have a family and hes trying to get better while trevor isnt
Hearing the betrayal in both Trevor and Michael's voices when they have to be dealt with is something that I wasn't ready for when I picked those endings.
Both were admittedly far from perfect and both were pretty bad human beings but the point of the game is that they redeem themselves by taking out even WORSE people that try to pass themselves off as better to the rest of the world.
Fuck A and B. Deathwish is the jam.
The saddest part about Michaels death is that Franklin talks about how Michael probably would’ve killed him eventually even though Michael thought of Franklin like his own son
13:25 even franklin is proud he picked option C
Funny thing is it's the same with his voice actor
“Ain’t that a bitch” 😂
When I first played I thought deathwish would led Franklin dying so I legit stopped playing at that point lol
@@Jordan64852 same. just finished my first playtrough and with Franklin dying in mind, clipping Trevor seemed the most reasonable choice. i tought one of them had to die.
also in C Trevor faces no consequence for murdering the people in the apartment and the owner of the strip club? those short cinematics were so sinister and suggestive.. it feels wrong to leave T alive
@@benceblazsovics9123 i feel you but i dont want franklin or michael to kill him, hes the two one he always stay yrue and honest, maybe he didnt trusted michael for a bit but at the end he was still his best friend and he have trust in michael when u decide to kill T he say it, he dont wanna forgive michael right away he say maybe when the heat goes down
to this day I'm so proud of myself for picking C
Same
will you still be able to play gta online? i mean i can pick option C as long as it doesn't erase my character from online
Same bro
@@normalspongey doesn’t matter what you choose
Gladly I choose option c, I thought I would've killed franklin, but it turns out you have to kill FIB, merryweathers, Steve hains, stretch, cheng, and devion. Guess I was wrong.
7:07 “Chase Michael”, with Michael’s name written in red and the red dot in the minimap really makes me sad
Ty for the vid - just finished the story mode. Im really glad i choice C
Tracy is going to college, Then her dad dies. Just emotional!
@Sex Johnson hahhahaha
Sex Johnson fuck im dead
@Coder boi They'd probably still have daddy's money tho
They get Michael's share after of the gold heist so they would be gold rich
@Coder boi i mean, thats still there dad tho
Notice how neither Michael or Trevor want to kill Franklin. They run away.
@Noel Silver Michael is a real one thats why
Its still shocking he headbutts you if you try to save him
@@kasumikat yeah >:(
Trevor has a pistol but it's not loaded
@@kasumikat Kinda bad writing, considering how everything Michael did to get out of the game was for his family. But I understand that it was basically a "Fuck you, you're committed to this ending now." from Rockstar.
Seeing Rockstar put “Put down Trevor” instead of “Kill Trevor” actually makes me feel bad.Trevor is my favorite character and I really didn’t show it but seeing it say that makes me feel bad for the guy. They put it in a way that it’s for the better,to end what he’s been through
Trevor never deserved to die. He hallucinated about his dead mom. That was the time I legit cried and knew that someday my mom would die too.
It's so fucked if you pick a or b, they both try so hard to help you and you just betray them like wtf
I killed Trevor because I thuaght deathwish was actually going to kill Franklin
I mean trevor was an evil cannabalistic monster who deserved it
h
+GOLDTo0TH Games no Trevor was a fucken beast
Death wish was supposed to be franklins death
"Our tracey..? College?"
Milthy still haunting me , it's just so sad
@@jmrii when does Michael say that?
That shit was hard 😢
Who ever choose Michael is gonna die
JLVKSON in the fresh meat mission
I picked C without hesitation, saying "I'm not doing that to my boys", then Franklin literally says something similar to Lester.
B would've absolutely broken my heart. That is way too brutal.
Before starting the campaign my friend who had already played it told me “Pick option C.” And I never knew what it meant.
By selecting the C option, Franklin, Trevor and Michael's friendship will be forever and that's what we call that a happy ending
And also Ending C is Canon because Franklin mentions Michael in GTA online the contract
@@heldkiller what if you chose b or a?
@@real_gamer7652 a trevor die b Michael die c devin die
@@waffentrager594 i know that but if that is cannon was my question
@@real_gamer7652 since ending C is the canon one, even if you do ending A or B nothing changes.
"You always did like gasoline" has to be the coldest line in this entire game.
Bro “no more talkie!”
Gasolina? No
-Patricia
Man That was your best fucking friend -Franklin
"YOUSUCK MY COCK....HUH?"
That was pretty funny tbh
"we did it, you and me bro."
this quote makes his death way more sad.
A:Is very emotional
B:Heartbreaking
C: Puts smile
9:17 *_Killing Michael was such a nonsense that they even offered to change your mind_*
No even if you choose to save him he headbutts Franklin and falls down
@@BlanKaiX you don't know it at the moment they give you the option, it's like if Rockstar was testing how far could we go being heartless sociopaths, and when he dies anyway it's like a punishment like if the game said "it's good that you are capable of redeem yourself... But you should've thought about that earlier", and if someone actually choosed to kill him still they really need help
Micheal was an idiot for trying to fight Franklin... while hanging from a 100 feet water tower. I mean come onnnnn Micheal you gotta be smarter then that
@Kamiryn Hernandez 🙄
@@deacongandy893 don't roll your eyes, they're right. .-.
The fact that Michael just heard that his daughter got to college and invited his best friend for a dinner right before he tries to kill him makes this so much more emotional.
Yeah, don't know how people can compare ending A to ending B. Michael said it himself "Human Stew... that's where I draw the line".
Like I love Trevor as a funny GTA character but he is literally as evil and objectively morally horrible as a human being can be. He is also the single largest hypocrite in the entire series. He is a pure psychopath even more outrageous than Damion(The literal Anti-Christ) from The Omen.
A is the best ending because Trevor is objectively the single most disgustingly evil person in the entire GTA universe. I'd kill Trevor over douchey G-man 4/5 times.
Yeah good thing it's Non Canon
Why does the game say Chase! Trevor like what does it mean I already notice him.
F*cking true

when i watched C i'm smiling. now i know what to select, thanks bro!
Ending B feels more sentimental since Michael and Franklin were like father and son
fun fact: when i firstly played gta i thought that the c option was franklings death and i chose trevor instead
Me too
Same bro franklin is my favorite so if there was even a chance he died I couldn’t take it
Me too and I was sad when I realised no one would die if I would have chose C.
Same, lucky I have a save point just before so I might do it again
ME TOO
I love how on the ending of mission C Trevor is like “oh ya I don’t have a car” 😂😂
LMAO I never noticed that
I like your profile picture and name...
LOL never noticed
The infinity walk
I love when Micheal says:Oh yes,Be very afraid Franklin*points to the skies*
Also am I the only one that found Micheal saying I'm getting too old for this satisfying?
The first ending for me is brutal knowing Trevor cared for Micheal in a way. He mourned and thought Micheal died for years and even came to Los Santos to meet up with him, all for it to get him murdered by a man he cared for in his own way, while Trevor in the second ending wasn’t present and wouldn’t of killed Micheal while Franklin did. It’s honestly sad
when I first played this, I chose C, but when I did I thought that if anybody died during it, they would be perma-dead (I later found out this was wrong, but only several years after the fact) and it made that ending all the more worth it
I feel like they should’ve made it that if you try and save Michael, then Michael throws Franklin off the edge and that’s the ending where Franklin could die
Yep
What happens if you decide to not throw him off?
Vincent Vella Michael just head butts Franklin, loses his grip and dies.
Why do u want Franklin dead?
Alex Yt So there’s an equal chance for all three characters to die. Some people favour trevor and mike over frank.
I only care for C. Got to say Trevor feels real normal and smart at that ending.
Benjámin Kurilla honestly, Trevor is the realest in the end
Ikr lol Trevor might be psychotic but he is an amazing character i think he is the reason why GTA V is such a good game
Until you realized that if you got there early like he did in this video he says “Time of some one on one time” which is kinda sus
Trevor is the smartest imo even if he’s insane
Ending A:betrayal. Ending B:regret. Ending C:accomplishment
Ending A: You realise the concept of survival and doing what's best for you
Ending B: You realise the concept of friendship and being around the right people despite what they're like
Ending C: You realise the concept of coping with those who could affect you but attempting to be around people in a broken world
